Shipping straps or securing straps are various types of cargo strapping used to secure pallets or loads in material handling. Securing straps can include a number of hand-tightened strapping, as well as the bulk-rolled banding material used with strapping machines for preparing cargo for shipment. Secure straps are available in a variety of sizes and designs, but the most common securing strap is the tie-down or lashing strap.
