Monica finds herself falling into a routine. That is until her best friend, Jenny, comes to the rescue. Jenny is taking Monica to Vegas for three days on a trip that she won. Monica is not sure about the trip but she goes anyway because she needs to get out of herself. Little does Monica know that this trip will get her out of her shell. Monica steps out of shell little by little that she even surprises herself. She even surprises herself. She even has the courage to approach a guy. Will Monica lose her confidence? Or will she go through with it?
I liked this book. It was a very quick read. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I recommend this book to others.
Monica is a school teacher who is a bit burnt out, not completely, but burnt out. Her friend has won tickets to go to Vegas for three days and invites Monica to go along. The subject that seems to matter most to Monica's friend is how long it has been since there was a little fun....the painful thought of maybe three or more years ago....ouch. Well Monica is about to break her dry spell.
When her friend and her go to the bar, the friend picks up a guy, and leaves Monica to wander around. Now it has been some time and Monica is heading back to the hotel. Voices find her in the hallway, and her friend is really having a good time. Monica watches, and then after seeing all she has, and doing all she has done, she heads back to the bar for a little while. That is where she spots a very hot man deep in thought. Nothing happens, except a brief eye contact that barely happened, even more depressing for poor Monica. She goes back to her room. In the morning her friend is called from work and needs to leave.
Monica is alone, and decides she will go grab a bite to eat and a drink. After that she is heading back to her room when she hears a booming voice, it sounds like a speech at a conference, when she peeks is, it is that gentleman from the bar. This time he spots her, eye contact lasting a little bit, and an ominous thought, he will heading to the bar for a brief time in case anyone at the meeting has questions. Monica heads there first. A couple of drinks later she is a little bolder, and starts to talk to him, that is until they are interrupted by someone. Alone Monica goes back to her room. Only she is not going to shy away and heads back to the bar and now the chemistry begins.
Things happen and they go their separate ways....this is where this book leaves off, definitely leaving the craving for more.
I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book.
I wish Seduced by the Billionaire were longer, because it has potential. Hopefully there is more coming about Monica and her billionaire.

This is a quickie read from the author, part of a series. This tells of the sexy adventure of Monica whilst in Vegas with her friend. It was a Vegas getaway and we all know what happens in Vegas usually ends up being hot and heavy. It was an okay read, there wasn't much connection to the characters from me, but I can see how this may appeal to others.
