Do not, I mean do not read another book until you have read "See Me!"
I spent most of Thanksgiving Day reading this unputdownable book!
You will NEVER be the same after you read this story!! Oh my GOSH, I can't get this story out of my head!!!
Please, do yourself a favor and READ THIS ONE!!
When I finished the book, I had to write to the Author and tell HER, how good this book was!
WOW! I am still reeling from this amazing story!!
This book was way to gruesome for my tastes. Too much abuse. The only reason I read it to the end is because I wanted to give an honest review, but Damn, it certainly didn't hold my interest. The heroine was really pathetic. After taking all that abuse, she claimed to still love the man. That was just crazy and to think that all she had to do was threaten to leave and things would've been better. Wow. And no matter how hard the writer tried, there was no chemistry to be had for Olivia and Ben. I wonder what genre this falls under, it definitely ain't romance, ha. It rattles a woman's senses and not in a good way. Sorry I paid five dollars for this crap.
Sharing her truth, Olivia provided freedom for more than herself. She may have shattered an illusion but she slowly builds herself whole in the process. Though her friendship with Ben was the beginning of her healing, I thought it was moving too fast. Especially given what she endured.
I enjoyed this book because it explored so many topics. Topics that aren't necessarily "nice or safe" topics but that people experience every day. Overall, it shows that people can go on and come out whole on the other side of chaos.
