This little novella was quite fun and hilarious in its way. Emotions going in a wild roller coaster of highs and lows and every line of the text had tension hidden in between. I'd recommend it for those who love friends-to-lovers romantic stories.

About the Author
Sara Winters began reading at three, writing fiction at six and had become totally immersed in the idea of creating new worlds before becoming fully aware of her place in this one. Writing has always been her number one love, bringing hours of enjoyment and earning her the privilege of being able to connect with people from all walks of life with just a few descriptive sentences. When she allows herself to spend time in the real world, she is a professional procrastinator with half a dozen unfinished novels and ideas for two dozen more.

- characters are all unlikeable and stiff, which tends to be a problem in a romance;
- dialogues are stilted;
- writing is grammatically in order but stylistically clunky;
- the author tells too much and shows too little, clumsy introspections taking the place of meaningful dialogues.
It was a freebie but I think it is not worth the time it takes to read it.
This novella surely has won its place in my favorite book shelf.
Simply put this novella is an amazing romantic love story.
Following Devins revelation of his feelings for his long time friend Sam was a thrilling and emotionally moving read.
Although the story is fairly short, I found the plot to be well developed. The dialogue between the characters being the most believable and endearing that I have read in a long time.
I was so able to connect to this cast of characters, that I long to read more about them.
This is the first book that I have read from Sara Winters, and I found this novella so enjoyable that I plan to read everything this author puts out.
I got this book when it was free, however I would happily have paid for this one.
The adult contents warnings are appropriate for this novella as it contains a m-m erotic scene.
