Semi-spoiler: This last book focused more on the world we live in and the most of the action happened there. The other world was much lighter in action and I kind of lost interest on the characters we had there, so I wanted to finish those parts to get back to other side asap. I will start 5th book today and I hope that it will be a more balanced one.
At the time I am writing this review Jason had 6 books released out of 9. I don't want to have another George RR Martin situation here waiting for the next chapters for years. Please release them on a timely basis.
Steven Spielberg - are you reading these?
I agree with everything the other reviewers before me have said but I am feeling a little disappointed at where the book left off. It is like the favourite TV series that one waits reluctantly for the next episode in a weeks time, but this episode was a few months in coming and with so many projects on the go, I shudder to think when Jason will find the time to write the next episode let alone finish the series. Many, many years ago, I started reading books in the Perry Rhodan series but the books in that series started getting shorter and shorter until it was taking three books of about 125 pages each to complete a storyline. After 40 books I gave up because the series sort of lost it's way and fizzled out due to lack of interest.
I hope that Jason doesn't let that happen to this series and brings it to a conclusion in the near future. With an imagination such as his, he will be able to start a new series of books without any problem and I will be looking out for those too.
Well done Jason.
