5.0 out of 5 stars Great book to apply PCM concepts to real life scenarios and to grow your leadership.
Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2020
I just finished “Seeing People Through," and I loved it! One of my takeaways from completing my PCM/PEM trainer certifications is the need for me to practice processing (focusing on how they say things rather than what they say) with others. While I have focused a lot on the conceptual and theoretical pieces and understand those very well, “doing the hard emotional work” continues to be the hardest part of PCM for me. “Seeing People Through” fills a gap that others have not when it comes to bridging the concepts of PCM with how to apply them in real life. The combination of new material coupled with the fable was enjoyable and helpful! Being able to “hear” Kayla’s internal dialogue as she reacted to others and reading through her processing and riding her elevator has really inspired me to use the same pause, consider, react response that she uses in the book.

Great for people who are new to the Process Communication Model ®️ (PCM) or for PCM trainers and coaches, as well!!

I congratulate Nate Regier on “Seeing People Through”. Well written and an easy read around a complex topic.
I’m sure I found it easier because of my PCM and Compassion Mindset knowledge.
A great book that all leaders should be reading.
An excellent sequel to “Conflict without Casualties!

I loved Seeing People through. I loved the compassionate mindset embodied into writing this book.

Personally i had been introduced to the idea of PCM to understand the diversity with in our own personalities and communicate with others in a way thats propelling motivating and more compassionate. I had took some learning with me which helped me over the last couple of years, improved the way i could communicate but this book elevates this all in its very simple format taking the journey with you to answer all the questions and understand better the idea.

The book shows how you could take personal responsibility for who we really are and showing up in the most healthy and awesome way of ourselves to the world. I believe every young leader needs to understand the essence of communicating and PCM provides the tools to embrace who we are and see people through in the same way.

My top three reasons why i think this books is a must read for our fellow young leaders.
1. Simple : I love how Kayla's journey with simple questions resonates so much with the questions we tend to have on having our own PCM profiles accessed. It goes on to detail every nuke and corner and demonstrate how we can readily use it our lives. Nate has done an amazing job being authentic in his writing.
2. Concise: I love how the book collects all the ideas in one place. Definitely useful content for all the PCM coaches trainers or anyone trying to implement the ideas into our lives.
3. Relevancy: I like how it dealt with the private life and professional life, common theme which most people relate with.

I am looking forward to a further edition with more real life story collection of how PCM has added value in people stories!!! #

For everyone, get your copy, worth your spend and makes for a really nice gift!
