I thought Arp's idea to be intriguing and in the early chapters the data and his comments seemed to be pretty clear. As I went along, however, I found that a lot of the time I could not relate his descriptions to the referenced figures. At some point I somewhat lost interest and, although I slogged through the whole book, I did not get much out of the later portions. Based on my experience, maybe others refused to consider data that conflicted with the Big Bang, as he contends, or maybe Arp saw things that others could not in the data. Personally, I do not find the BB theory particularly satisfying and would like to have seen a good alternative - unfortunately I did not find it in this book.
