Sara Gillingham is an award-winning art director and designer. She was the Design Director for Children's Publishing at Chronicle Books and taught at UC Berkeley and California College of Arts. Bought this for our 8 year old daughter for Christmas and it seems ideally placed for that sort of age group. She loves it, has read it cover to cover several times and enjoys regaling us with facts from it on the morning walk to school.
Definitely recommended for younger stargazers.
