"This is a solid series with wonderful, well-developed characters. Although I have not been able to read Seeking Catherine yet, I have every intention to because the other 2 stories are so good that I want to complete the series." - Amazon Reviewer

While sprinkled with Bible verses, the views in these books are not Biblical. Faith is described as simply belief in something rather than in Jesus Christ and Heaven is described as a peaceful feeling even non-believers can obtain rather than a specific place where only those saved by the blood of Jesus Christ dwell. The first book has enough references to seduction and lust to make one uncomfortable, especially as they are supposed to be from a Christian man's point of view. The third book has multiple uses of mild curse words. It is not truly Christian based nor Biblically uplifting. Bible verses are recited throughout as often as Gypsy sayings rather than applied in the heroes's lives and thoughts.

Seeking Patience
Interesting storyline. There are many twists and turns that held my interest throughout. Luca holds many prejudices. Patience is beset by trouble at every point. Well written characters. Great ending that was unexpected. I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
Seeking Fortune
Great storyline with wonderful, well written characters. A lot of information about the Romany culture and history in the Regency period. Love, heartbreak and forgiveness abound in this story. Very inspirational. I highly recommend this one. I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
Seeking Charity
Good storyline and interesting characters. Daniel and Charity were childhood friends. She ran away at 14 and everyone was told she had died. When Daniel happens upon her in Wales, she must overcome her fears.
This set has 3 books - actually more like 2 books + 1 shorter one. Approximate # of pages for each: Seeking Fortune - 265 pages, Seeking Charity - 90 pages & Seeking Patience - 242 When I began reading this set, I thought it was going to be more about gypsies & reading palms - fortune telling, etc. But it is not. Instead all three are about different people yet they are connected in that one or more in the 1st book is mentioned or partially in another book. Yet each are stand-alone books -which I appreciate. The one connection in all 3 is that with everything going on in each book, there is the doubts of God, not believing God as well as becoming closer to Him. - Yet nothing in these books are 'preachy' as some readers may write. Well Worth Reading.
This was a good series. Each book is about a person from a gypsy culture falling in love with someone from English aristocracy. Each book is unique. Seeking Fortune has a couple gypsy girls in need coming to a gentleman's estate for help. Seeking Charity, I think was my favorite. Chastity ran away from her abusive father at the age of 14 and ended up living with gypsies. A few years later, a childhood friend catches a glimpse of her... Seeking Patience involves an English widow who helps a severely beaten gypsy. All good books. I've read each of these as advanced copies and then purchased the series. I recommend them.

It took me a while to finish the series. I wanted to like it because it was labeled Christian romance, so I kept reading. It seemed disjointed. The Christian principles are not clearly defined that a non-believer can easily make an erroneous interpretation. Even the ending didn’t have a conclusive feel to it.

These books weren't my favorite... I wouldn't really even consider them "Christian" as there was quite a bit of passion passing between the characters when they weren't of the same faith. There was some mention of God and scripture in the first book, but not much in the last two books. I'm glad I got these books for free... I would've been upset had I paid for them.
I enjoyed this series very much. it kept my interest and moved along at a fast pace. The characters were very well developed and several times I thought to myself, "Well, I never saw that coming." Good read!
I loved this 3 book set. The heroes are heroines are well fleshed-out. Their faith underlies their actions without being preachy. Nicely done. I thought book two was a bit too short so I took off 1/2 star. I will definitely read more from this author
