Sonic travels to the distant shores of Never Lake for the once-a-year appearance of Little Planet - a mysterious world where past, present, and future collide through the power of the Time Stones that lie hidden within it.

Bring back the classic with one of Sega's well known character Sonic the Hedgehog! It has a mix of all the the Sonic games and this one has it all, right down to the soundtrack of the US version to the Japan Version. Great download!

Sonic CD was released for the sega cd which sold poorly due to the bad games and the false claims of "full motion video". How ever Sonic CD was the only Sega CD game to sell over 1 Million Units. Which was spectacular for the notorious Genesis Add-on. The game has great Animation on the boot-up. The game on the phones and tablets have game pad support. Which is great for better better gameplay. The game was given better HD graphics. But the game kept its pixel look. Which is good for the nostalgic feel.

CONTROLS AND GAMEPLAY

The touch controls are fluid and responsive 99% of the time. The gameplay feels like the original on the Sega CD. Which is very great. KUDOS Sega Kudos!

END NOTE And RATING

If you like the Sega CD release you will like this game. And hey it's worth the 2.99 or 2 pounds for me in the UK and my RATING is 10/10

Christian Whitehead has done a solid conversion of Sonic CD to Android for SEGA. It plays well, and smooth on my device. I think it plays better than the Steam PC version and emulated versions.

As a game, Sonic CD is one of the best old school Sonic platforming games ever made, and the bonus stages are fun too. Being able to choose between the Japanese or USA soundtrack is amazing for those who never got to listen to one of them while playing.

Awesome. I have yet to collect the chaos gems (or whatever they may be in this game). I never played the original of this for DreamCast or whatever played it but I think this is great. You can choose Japanese soundtrack or English. You can play as Tails or Sonic. It's now my favorite classic sonic game thanks to this app. This game is super fun and I could play it for long periods of time. The time travel feature is super cool. The English soundtrack is super creepy at times for them who like creepy - not jump scare, just uneasy feeling.

I still own the real CD of this game.. One of my favorites back in the day.I bought the game brand new in 1993 and still have both the game and a working series 2 Sega CD. I had it running on my KGens Emulator and worked perfectly.. So I never Got this game... Howevver the FAOTD of this is awesome... Now I can put it on my wifes tablet, as she wants nothing to do with emulators. Plus this version has a ton of extras like the japanesse soundtrack, extra art work, and others that make this a nice addition to my sonic collection, thanks Amazon.... Game its self has no crazy permissions or anything bad, just Sega at her very best.
