This watch looks much better in real!
Nice polished steel bezel, steel-like face, steel hands and marks. The calf band looks like real alligator leather. The deployment buckle closes with the long end of the band towards the inside (at 6 o'clock position), very classy, "a la IWC".
Although it is not a cheap piece, definitely looks much more expensive than it actually is.
Turned out to be an excellent choice!
As for the watch itself, it is truly a beautiful watch. It already received many compliments and most
people find it a lot more expensive looking than it really is, which is a big plus, if you ask me.
It is quite shiny in its gray-silver look and the nice brown leather strap make it look very dressy and
The Roman numerals are nice and the chronograph works just fine, though I got it mostly for its appearance,
not for its functionality.
I would recommend this watch blindfolded, especially for its current price (which is lower than what I got
Only a few minor setbacks:
1. The main second hand, which serves as the chronograph second hand, doens't align perfectly with
the 12 o'clock making.
2. For its price, it is not the most sophisticated watch ever. I own a Citizen which costs roughly
the same as this watch, but its mechanism and side features are a lot more impressive, oh, and this
Seiko does not have a perpetual calendar, which is something I'd expect. Oh well, at least the watch
3. The leather strap has a light-cream undertone, which is very visable and looks very cheap when
you have the watch on your wrist. With its sleek looks, suddenly, there's a big white cheap looking
part on the strap. It is very visable.
I dyed it carefully with some shoe-shine, which makes it look better and less noticeable, yet, all in
all, this part seems unsuitable for such a high-quiality watch.
4. The strap looks very nice, all in all, but one could tell it is not a real croc you're wearing on your wrist.

The only drawback is that it can be difficult to see the time in dim lighting. No big deal. There are clocks everywhere.
