The watch has died after six months
on April 23, 2017
Update 3 May 2017: Amazon has replaced the watch under their warranty after I contacted them, and the new watch seems better than the last. I'm upgrading my review from 1 star to 3 stars. After about a week, this watch has only lost about 5-10 seconds (original watch would lose about 20 seconds / day). The day/date is also aligned correctly in the window. However, on this watch, the hour and minute hands are not perfectly synchronized. The hour hand is pointing directly at the hour mark on the face when the minute hand is about 5 minutes before the top of the hour (the hour hand is a little ahead).
Original Review: The watch has died after six months, and won't run if left with the face up. When fully charged, if I lay it face down, it will keep perfect time until the spring winds down (about 24 hours). When I wear it, it runs really slow and will sometime even stop when I hold it up to look at it (level and face up). I will try to get this repaired or replaced under warranty.
Also, the date does not line up exactly in the window, a little niggling detail that bugs me every time I look at it.
If the watch had been more durable, I would give it a four star rating. I really like the face, it is a very nice looking watch.
