A tasteful example of simple styling and careful construction, this Seiko men's automatic timepiece is the epitome of understated refinement. The well-crafted goldtone stainless steel bracelet and case set off the fluted bezel and complement the elegant black dial. Golden hour and minute hands and bold hour markers exhibit luminescent touches making this watch highly legible day or night. Other convenient features include a day and date window, a sweep seconds hand, and a durable mineral crystal.
In 1877, at the age of 18, Kintaro Hattori set up business repairing the Western-style clocks that were becoming increasingly popular in Japan. By 1892, Hattori was manufacturing his own clocks in a factory he called Seikosha, from the words "seiko" meaning "exquisite," "success," or "miniature," and "sha" meaning "house." The company grew and prospered, producing its first wristwatch in 1913 and launching the Seiko brand in 1924. Technological innovation has always been a driving force in the company's history. Key milestones include Seiko's introduction of the world's first quartz watch in 1969, and its successful launch, in 1988, of the Kinetic, the world's first battery-free watch with quartz accuracy. Recognized for its technological excellence, Seiko has provided timekeeping services for the Olympic Games and the World Cup Soccer Championships. Today, the Seiko brand continues to stand for state-of-the-art technology, as well as superior quality and refined design.

I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist, and adjusted the band at the clasp without removing links. I'm not sure it would fit an 8" or larger wrist without adding links.
This is a great looking watch. Close enough to a President that I would not wear it traveling or in a rough neighborhood. I've picked up three of these Seiko Rolex-style watches this month, two autos and one quartz, for less that one service on a Rolex. It seems the autos have possibly been discontinued, with prices climbing on the ones still available, so it was now or never if I wanted new ones. No regrets.
I was nervous it wouldn't look as nice and high quality as some of the reviews stated, but thankfully, it is very nice. It's a nice gold tone too, not to brassy/yellow.
I have not worn it yet as I need to remove links. But, I am excited to do so!
