Michael Brown is a Jewish believer in Jesus (he came to faith in 1971 as a heroin-shooting, LSD-using, hippie rock drummer) and he holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University. He's written more than 40 books, including wake-up calls to the Church of America, scholarly monographs and commentaries on biblical subjects, a series of volumes on answering Jewish objections to Jesus, and much-discussed books on today's hottest cultural issues. He has spoken throughout America and in more than 30 countries, and he hosts the nationally syndicated, daily talk radio show The Line of Fire. He is the founder and president of FIRE School of Ministry in Concord, NC and serves as a visiting or adjunct professor at a number of seminaries. He and his wife Nancy have been married since 1976 and have two wonderful daughters and four incredible grandchildren. His heart beats to see a gospel-based moral and cultural revolution in this generation.

    Incredibly thankful to have stumbled upon Dr. Michael Brown's book. Since my own personal revival (January 2023), Holy Spirit has urged me to pray for revival. Then Asbury Revival happened in Feb 2023. Something stirred in my heart, something big is coming, but I didn't know how to prepare for it. This book has opened my eyes to see how important not only pray for revival but learn to sustain it, establish a "revival culture", co-work with the Holy Spirit and understand the "cost" of revival. And the most important thing is to get rid of all pride in me and bring all the glory to Jesus (learning from John the Baptist). A very easy read, couldn't stop reading it, and I just finished it yesterday! I am SO excited for the next move of God!

    Great book on how to support and steward a revival without quenching the Spirit of God. Also great insights on discipling those touched by the Lord and what to do after a revival ends to keep a church thriving and staying in step with the Holy Spirit. It presents a long view of God’s holy movements over time. A lot of this I had never thought about before. Excellent. Loved it.
