After graduating from Hull University (North Humberside, UK), I went on to do a Ph.D. at Cardiff University where I studied endocrinology in fish. After working as a research associate at Cardiff University I decided I wanted to be a teacher, so went back to University (this time Birmingham) to study for a teaching certificate.

My first teaching job took me to Tenerife, Spain where I met my wife to be. After a spell of teaching in Madrid, we went back to Tenerife. Two kids later, we now live in North Wales.

On a day to day basis, I write "How To" books and create courses related to websites, SEO and other topics of interest to anyone running a website.

This time Andy Williams decided to show his readers that publishing books on Amazon isn't just fun. It's also a lot of expertise, which the author, as always, diligently shares with us. So we get detailed instructions on what to do and how to do it to make our work look right. But the primary value of this book lies rather in something else. First of all, it makes us aware that we need to know what we want to write about - because Andy devotes very little space to the question of how to find topics that we can write about in an interesting way. Secondly, to show us how many different promotional activities we need - or at least should - do afterward (free self-promotion, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) to make the book really popular and read. That is, to bring us profits.

Very helpfu book. Writer clearly knows what he's talking about and has a lot of experience. My only complaint about the book is sometimes it is way too detailed and almost assumes you don't know what the internet is! The KDP detailed screenshots are great because most people aren't familiar with this, but I'd be surprised if those smart enough to write a book need a detailed tutorial on creating FB, Twitter and Gmail accounts. This book would be half as long without all the images.
