About the Author
Kristin Sheffer is Founder of Simply Free, a membership based website offering affordable, convenient, and high quality personal development resources to people all over the world. After nearly a decade in corporate america, she became a self-made social entrepreneur dedicated to combining business, charity, and personal development into a balanced lifestyle. Her story of struggle and success inspires her fellow millennial’s to achieve their dreams and never forget the true purpose of life. As a 19 year old college drop out, Kristin took a chance on her self and ventured out into the corporate streets of Manhattan and began her career as an Executive Assistant to a big-time CEO. Through disciplined hard work, integrity and a tireless work ethic Kristin quickly advanced up the corporate ladder defeating every obstacle that came her way. Armed with only a high school diploma, at the age of 24 she was promoted to Partner and Director of that same multi million dollar gold mining company with operations in multiple countries. Kristin’s corporate success served as preparation for her eventual launch of Simply Free, a Personal Development Coaching business. Additionally to her business pursuits, she is regarded as a prominent humanitarian figure due to her extensive volunteer involvements both locally and abroad. Local efforts include organizations such as Miami Rescue Mission, Kristi House and His House Children’s Home. Internationally she has travelled on over 6 relief trips to 4 different countries. Her passion for helping others evolved into hosting a series of volunteer events to promote group participation. She believes that selfless development is the new “self development”. Personally, Kristin has traveled to over 24 countries and resided in 4. She has learned some of life’s hardest lessons through overcoming an eating disorder, addiction and surviving infidelity and divorce. She is truly an example of a woman who has found her strength and fights to protect her purpose, passion and joy.
