About the Author

With 22 years of speaking, selling and coaching - and most importantly, 'in-the-trenches' experience - Michael offers a different perspective. He appreciates and shares with his audiences that effective communication is not based on title, tenure or position. It's for everyone, and it can have a profound, positive impact on your life.

Michael is sometimes referred to as the "Storytelling MD." When asked why, he replies: 
"Although I greatly admire the work doctors do to earn their MD, I took a different route. I didn't go to school for 8, 10 or 12 years. I've studied public speaking and storytelling skills since 2001. Also, I was wise enough to be born with the initials MD. Combine the two, and you get 'The Storytelling MD'."

Mr. Davis is known for his practical, energetic and entertaining style. His fusion of real-life experiences and his conversational manner connect with his audiences at an intimate and individual level.

He is the founder of Speaking CPR, and also serves as a faculty member of Stage Time University. He is a Certified World Class Speaking coach, and continues to study and work with some of the best professional speakers, humorists and screenwriters to hone his speaking and storytelling skills.

He is the author of 'THE Book on Storytelling,' and the 'Sell More With Stories' Kindle book series, as well as audio learning programs.

Michael is sought by speakers around the world to help them craft more meaningful and memorable presentations.

His successes include: Kroger, Hengehold Capital Management, West Chester Community Foundation, TED X Cincinnati, Cincinnati Port Authority, Messer Construction, and Toastmasters International.

Prior to his speaking and presentation skills work, Michael was a Certified Financial Planner. 

Although born in France, he has lived most of his life in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. He attended the University of Cincinnati, and currently resides in Blue Ash, Ohio.
