It's a short book, which you can finish in a couple of hours or less. He devotes just enough ink to the basic need-to know information for navigating Amazon's portal. He explains how sellers can use the best options and tools to best leverage Amazon's buying market. But he also offers realistic advice about how much money can be made and how much time can be devoted to this business.
The drawback is the book needs to be updated, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Amazon has had so many policy changes that one of his topics -- packaging multiple items -- is no longer accurate.
Besides that -- which is important -- it is better to start with reading his book rather than wading through Amazon's Seller's pages with dozens of links. Read the book first, and the seller page will make more sense.
For me with a full time job and other commitments it was just too much time. Just not for me.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of information in the book, and how easy it was to digest and immediately employ in flipping retail store sales items for quick money. I think that in the right location and with some leg-work, anybody that reads this book can make comparable profits, if they follow the easy step-by-step instructions for finding inventory.
For me, the immediate returns from reading this book were the specific examples of where the author found the inventory to sell, how to price-check items quickly and effectively, and the discussion on using Amazon's FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) to have inventory packaged and marketed, allowing me to turn over profits faster and more frequently. I fully intend to follow the author's friend's advice and add retail flipping into our portfolio, along with our existing model that includes finding free items (or under $1), and providing informational products to re-sellers and temporarily unemployed entrepeneurs. After all, as it states in this book in regards to retail reselling with the aid of Amazon FBA, "You'd have to be dumb to not do this."
