I really enjoyed this book. It was super hot, love it! I definitely was surprised, there were so many things that caught me off guard. It was so beautiful. I love Selina and Josh. A lot happens in this sex club. I absolutely love the plot, it was the reason I even decided to read this book. It definitely surpassed my expectations. I was so surprised with how the book turned out!!! I absolutely love it!!! What is disappointing was how short it was. It is more like a novella length. I just wanted more!!!!!!!
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.
Selling Selena is a quick-read novella about following your desires and taking what you want. It also features some BDSM and group sex, if that’s your thing.
Selena lost her older brother last year in an accident. Now, she’s living with her brother’s best friend, Josh. She just turned 18, and Selena often finds herself searching out BDSM kink online even though she’s a virgin and has never experienced that lifestyle for herself. But when an opportunity comes up at the B&B Club (the Bound and Banged Club), she can’t resist.
Josh works as the host for the ultra-secret BDSM club, and it’s his job to make sure the rich clients get what they want while the girls are kept safe. He’s secretly had feelings for Selena for years, but his desires run dark and he can’t bring Selena down that path with him. When Selena ends up at the B&B Club, ready to auction off her virginity followed by a night of kink with three uber-rich Doms, Josh’s allegiances are tested. Hard limits are pushed as one particular Dom comes into the picture to change both Josh and Selena’s lives for the better.
Selling Selena was a short novella and a very quick read. For something billed as a “kinky menage BDSM erotic romance,” the author was not very hot and heavy on any of those aspects. Compared to other stories that bill themselves as “kinky,” this story was actually pretty light. Yes, there was some menage action, but it was brief; most scenes only incorporated two of the five men in the room with Selena. There was bondage, but not much BDSM beyond that. Fifty Shades might have actually had more BDSM than this book, and that’s saying something. And there was romance; Josh and Selena have been flirting around each other for years, and this story is the culmination of all that. The story, overall, was cute; it has a lot of potential to be expanded into a full-length novel, but as it stands it feels like the novella falls short on all that was promised. Selena was so excited that she didn’t feel pushed in the scenes in any way; there was no true sub/Dom relationships and she had no fear to stand up to the Doms. The premise of the book was interesting, but the delivery and final product left quite a bit to be desired.
