With an operating pressure of 70 to 95 psi, the FinishPro 18 drives 18-gauge brad nails from 5/8 inch to 2 inches. It's ideal for a range of installation jobs, including interior trim, cabinets, chair rail, crown molding, baseboards, bookshelves, and exterior trim.
Designed to be user-friendly, this nailer features an adjustable depth-of-drive and exhaust, as well as a belt hook that lets you take the tool everywhere you go. The soft grip provides comfort and control, a no-mar pad protects the work surface, and a rear bumper protects work finish.
Rugged and Compact Compressor
Powered by a 1.0 HP (peak), 0.5 HP (running) oil-less motor, the PC1010 compressor has a one-gallon capacity tank. It provides 4.0 amps at 115 volts and 120 psi max output. The 1/4-inch quick disconnect coupler and regulator provides consistent, reliable operation, while individual gauges for tank and regulated output allow you to easily keep track of pressure. And because the PC1010 is electric, you won't have to worry about the expense and mess of oil.
Designed to be rugged enough for professional use, the PC1010 is lightweight at 20 pounds, and it features a cushioned handle for easy carrying and a compact, easy-store design. And to save you time, it pumps up in just over two minutes and recovers in only 35 seconds.
Both tools are backed by one-year warranty.
About Senco: Innovation Backed by Experience
For over 50 years, Senco has been setting quality and performance standards for the fastener industry. In fact, Senco was the true inventor of the pneumatic fastening industry way back in 1950, and they've been the leading innovator in fastener technologies ever since. As a company, Senco has achieved an unheard of ten thousand hours of fastener engineering expertise.
In just one year, their plant in Cincinnati alone uses enough wire to make 18 trips to the moon and back. Even more impressive is the fact that since 1996, Senco has sold over 500 trillion fasteners to trusted companies like Fleetwood, Champion, Merillat, Ashley Furniture, and other major manufacturers.

Granted, it was probably not geared for the career finish carpenter. But for the weekend handyman it has been great. The only thing I added was a polyurethane straight air hose, because I don't really care for the coil hoses.
This is the 3rd Senco tool I've bought and I've been very pleased with each one, I would say that I will continue buying their air tools but there are only so many nailers that a homeowner needs if they aren't a carpenter or woodworker.
No solution, now I have to take it in to a tool shop to get it repaired and spend more money. I don't understand why they would sell something that doesn't work properly, especially at the amount that it cost. Waste of time & money. Not happy with this situation & will never buy from this distributor again.
I love this nailer. I build woodworking projects as a hobby, and I don't know how I ever survived without this. The nailer is outstanding. Quickly and effortlessly drives brads without leaving a mark on the surface of the wood. Easy to adjust the depth of the brad drive. The gun can use several sizes of brads as well (and this kit comes with a nice variety of brads). So far I have had zero misfires in about 100 shots.
The compressor is nice too. Lightweight and easy to carry around. It usually has to recharge the compression about every 5-8 shots, which can take 10-20 seconds, however, if you're not nailing too quickly, you can continue to nail while it pumps. It takes about 2-3 minutes to fully charge from being empty.
I think the instruction manual is a little light on information. There was no information on attaching the hose connector to the back of the brad gun. The kit came with some plumber's tape, so I assumed that I needed to put a little of that on the connector and then screw the connector into the back of the brad gun. It seemed to work fine, but I don't like having to make a guess as to how to put the kit together!
I'm sure this is not the quickest compressor, but for the money and the size, it works just fine. This is a very handy tool and really makes my projects go a whole lot faster. I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a simple easy to use compressor kit.
I purchased this Senco after doing some on-line research, knowing that I would not be doing heavy duty construction work, and balancing price with performance. The purchase through Amazon went smoothly, and the package arrived much sooner than advertised-- a pleasant surprise.
Yesterday I used the compressor and gun for the first time to install door casings. Set-up was fairly straight forward, and it was up and running in a matter of minutes.
Once the compressor is turned on and reaches the operating pressure (within a minute), it shuts down, so you don't have to hear it running all the time. Although the compressor is not loud, you don't want to listen to it all day. The gun is light-weight and comfortable to work with. Simply pressing the gun against the wood and pulling the trigger, I was able to shoot a nail (technically a brad) into the wall with virtually no kick-back. I was quickly able to install the wood casing, much, much faster, and better, than using any manual hammer method. The nail is automatically counter-sunk, and the nail hole is smaller than a comparable nail. I was quite impressed. (I was even more impressed by the carpenters of the 1890's who installed the original casings in my house 'right on' without any electrical tools of any kind.) After about five or six nailings, the compressor would kick in again and power up to the required pressure. This takes only a few seconds, but some reviewers have complained about the frequency of this pressure re-cycling, that a bigger tank is required. My response is "So what!". I have a light-weight compressor that I can pick up with one hand and move it to wherever I want it without much effort or need for a large storage space.
I am very pleased with this Senco nailer. Hopefully it will stand the test of time.
