I just saw that I had not reviewed this product and I bought it in 2010. These headphones sound good, are lightweight and comfortable, the price is right and they last for at least 2 years - mine are still going. They also come with a little extension cord so that you can move with it rather than having it confined to your shirt pocket to keep from getting unplugged. Senheiser is a great brand and I will buy these again if my current set ever wears out.

These are great headphones with only one drawback. I wish the cord was about 6" longer on the main pair. The extension is nice, but it quickly becomes too long.
Part of the reason that I like these headphones so much is that they fit well into your ear, they cancel out a surprising amount of noise and the sound quality is great. I like bass, and these deliver.
Well worth the cost, assuming you can deal with a shorter cord mentioned above.

Great quality headphones. I just wish the connector would be thinner so i could connect it to my phones through the case.

I like these headphones a lot! I use them for listening to books and music on my Sansa Clip. They are comfortable (I often will fall asleep listening to them and wear them all night with no problem), sound good, and they were very reasonably priced. Good headphones! I definitely recommend them.

the ear buds are uncomfortable and fall out frequently. I have sense ordered different styles and waiting on them to arrive

I bought the same model years ago, but it seems that they don't make it like they used to. The case seemed cheaper and the sound quality was half as good.

I noticed I had not reviewed these since they were bought a few years back. Well, I have nothing but great things to say about them.
They've performed flawlessly for years, which is more than I can say about any pair of heavily-used headphones I've owned. I use these on almost a daily basis while jogging, lifting, yard work, auto repairs, etc. The short cord is excellent for an armband. The earbuds have NEVER once fallen out of my ears and I don't have to jam them in either. In fact, fatigue doesn't set in for me with these buds until about 5 hours of use (and yes I've used them for 5 hrs straight before). The best thing I like about these buds is the fact that when seated properly in the ears, I can hear almost NO outside noises with the music at normal level. Although that can be a dangerous thing too as most times I have no idea what's going on around me. Music reproduction is very faithful, with plenty of bass (buds seated properly of course) and great mids and highs. Not too heavy on either side of the spectrum either. The cord and everything have held up great too which I'm amazed at. Rubber is not cracking and cord is still in excellent shape. The ONLY and I repeat ONLY gripe I have about these buds are the fact that they retain lots of earwax. I'm constantly having to clean them out, but the sound has not been affected.

i just got my pair today. i'm not a super audiophile like others. but i can tell you these blow the ipod buds away.
it's like a whole new ipod. volume is way down. the bass and highs are all incredible now. 1/3 now is like almost full volume before.
if you're really an audiophile you likely have your ipod filled with few songs since you have the quality at cd level, not mp3. you also likely have $300+ phones in, not earbuds. i like having 1400 songs on my nano and understand that it's not the highest quality.
but compared to the loose ipod buds, songs are a millions times better. i'm super happy b/c i found these for $30 shipped somewhere. if i had not found them dirt cheap, knowing now how great they are, i would pay the $90.
it's true what others say that hitting the wire is noticeable. but unless you pay tons of $$ you just expect that with in-ear buds. simply securing it by using the clip or other ways seems to prevent it though. you only hear feedback from the top of the cord.
the short cord seems the perfect length for my arm band in the gym at 6' tall. now the extension is very long. not sure why anyone would need it this long, but you don't need to worry about it being short.
the medium seems to fit me well. very comfy. it was a pain while snowboarding and lifting in the gym and my white ipod buds would fall out. these seem nice and snug. the large are very snug. so maybe i'll shred with the large.
now if i feel it would be necessary to hear others or whatever sounds while enjoying my music... well i would likely not use my ipod... but i still have my white buds which allow me to hear plenty.

Nice sound, but they are so fragile. Lasted for about 6 months, then the extension cable died, replaced that cable then one ear died.

_une fois bien positionnés au creux de l'oreille, la sensation d'isolation est quasi-incroyable; le monde n'existe plus, vous n'entendez plus que votre musique; testé sur les grandes artères de Lyon aux heures de pointes (beaucoup de circulation forcément), on n'entend plus du tout l'environnement quand la musique est en route, que ce soit à faible ou à plus fort volume;

Extremely comfortable. You almost do not notice that it is in your ear. Changed to Sennheiser after faulty Philips set. Fits better (smaller earpieces), and has the clip which i found very useful while walking with my shoulder bag. The sound quality is the same as Philips.

Also insgesamt eine sehr sehr schlechte Fälschung

se bonifie avec l'age!
Reviewed in France on September 26, 2012Verified Purchase
