Product Description
Leaving your headphones just lying around anywhere is seldom a good idea — especially if you own high-performance headphones. The HH-10 headphone holder from Sennheiser solves that problem by giving your over-the-head style headphones a home perch. Simply attach the sturdy clamp to the edge of a shelf or desktop, and hang your headphones on the padded cradle. Ridges on either side of the cradle prevent your 'phones from slipping off.

TL;DR - Great solution for a headphone holder if you have a small deskspace, some obnoxious design choices render it an eyesore, and it's physical limitations garner it useless for certain setups. If you need something to hold your expensive headphones away from your cats, and you have a tiny desk grab one of these.
bit slipperly (the clamps that hold it in place) but with a bit of tightening, it WILL stay in place and it does feel very sturdy.
The thing is, the plastic in the clamps will actually flex and that worried me greatly. So i lessened the pressure but it did make me feel like I'll accidentally snap it. I would say this is the only con I have to say about it.
As foe the cushioning of the headphones, it does what it has to do greatly. I tried 2 headsets on it, a Razer Tiamat 7.1 and an ATH-M50x and both were resting quite comfortably without the band suffering from any noticale stress thanks to the wide area the cushion does cover.
Will I recommend this? If you need a headphone stand that connects to a table and stays put indefinitely, then this is a great choice. While I would have liked to see this be made of metal, that would have of course increased the price greatly.
The bracket is adjustable for rotation at every 90 degrees and a range of grip thicknesses from a few millimeters up to about 40mm.
The headphone holder pad is a soft, somewhat sticky foam. The main plastic may be ABS. The pad that contacts the desk or cabinet is firm and somewhat grippy. There are at least 3 or 4 different plastics used, and they're all very well chosen and carefully engineered.
While this is very nicely made and seems like it should be quite durable, I'm not sure it will hold up to a lifetime of use. As others have noted, metal may be a better choice for long term durability. However, for what it is, it's well done.
The problem with this is the clamp. My desktop is rather thick (maybe it works better with a thinner surface?) and it seems like when I tighten it that the bottom pice bends which makes it hard to tighten well enough to keep it from rotating. The knob can also be hard to get at if you desktop does not overhang since you have the desk on one side and the holder on the other. It would be much better if they had a knob below the mount that you could use for tightening instead of putting it where it is.

As for the negatives it is a little pricey for what you get. While it seems well made, the material is all plastic(minus the padded top) and the adjustment arm flexes a bit when tightened so don't clamp it down too hard. A little flex seems unavoidable so hopefully this stress doesn't cause it to weaken or break after time but so far it's been doing it's job perfectly.
It's a simple, yet well thought out and effective product...highly recommended!
Despite the "japan import" in the title delivery was super fast - 3 days (and I used free shipping 4-8 day delivery option).
It's a bit on the expensive side, but how often are you going to buy a headphones holder? If this thing servers you for years to come it probably doesn't matter all that much whether you pay $40 or $20.
