It is hard to find replacement silicone buds.
The cord length is about 5 feet long. (To some this is a hassle. To others this is freaking amazing.)
Extra side note- I am not easy on anything that I own.*** If there was a product out there labelled "TheWelderGuy-proof" IT IS A LIE and it doesn't exist.
Update: these buds lasted 7 months or so.... they short circuited on the wire next to the jack where I mentioned there were issues with the casing. It kept what I think is the same sound quality up until one side just wouldn't go on any longer. .... the longest lasting pair of buds with great sound quality that have yet been tested by me. That's saying a lot :p
Edit. They lost out to sennheiser wireless earphones( 1.75 years). The ones that drape over the neck.
The downfall is the durability. I ONLY use these for work (my work is primary sedentary, with some walking from point A to B) and the head phones failed. The right ear bud cut out completely, after troubleshooting the issue comes from the head phone jack connection point.
Like other wired head phones the head phone jack is the weak point of the design since they tend to flex and bend causing issues with connection points of the wires going onto the headphone jack. Since these headphones are not designed with durability in mind then the average life of these will be 6 months or less.
Like I stated before my use of these headphones was rather typical of most who use headphones. Now if you are looking that these for exercising purposes, DO NOT get them. They will likely fail you with in a couple months.
Overall, Sennheiser needs to focus on increasing durability of the headphone jack connection or else there will be no reason to spend the extra 50 to 70 dollars for these over other in ear headphones on the market.
I have the Beats Tour and hate them. I figured I'd try the urBeats 2. They sounded okay but the fit was painful. So I ended up returning them.
In doing my research I had a few ideas of what I thought would sound good. But my main issue is the fit. So I decided to order 4 pairs of sub 100$ ear buds and decide. I compared these ear buds, the Klipsch R6, Klipsch S4a, and the FiiO Ex1's. They had decent reviews and reported good sound so that's what I decided to try. In my research I saw many reviews and top 5 lists with these being near the top. So when I received all the ear buds I tried these first. The sound was excellent, the fit was easy and comfortable! I love the sound, it has decent bass thump without burying the mids and highs. The mids and highs are clear and crisp.
So then I started down the line with the rest. Both of the Klipsch models didn't fit good at all. I could get them to stay in, but they weren't comfortable and didn't seal properly. The sound quality just wasn't there for me. Bass was unimpressive, mids were good but the highs were too much.
The FiiO model was the closest to being a tie with the Sennheiser's. Fit was great, bass was good, but the mids and highs sounded a bit muddied.
So the winner was the Sennheiser Momentum ear buds! I've been using these all day and have no complaints whatsoever! I highly recommend these!!
Disclaimer: I'm not audio expert and probably used improper terminology and such, lol.

Can give great bass sounds
The buds are long and that can lead to them tilting in the ear when moving would need to be pushed back into position now and again.
Coming back to the headphones - I am a very normal user (Not a pro), the bass and treble appear to be perfect, songs crystal clear and it blocks external noise fairly okay. Also I wish if it had an option for a lightning connector as well.
One star rating for the build quality, I can't belive they sell such a crap plastic and cheap wire's well packed for that kind of money.
sibilant on treble, do yourself a favour and buy some Sony xb70ap for half money and same sound signature with no harsh treble and extremely well built
