I have used Sensa consistently for about 3 weeks. It works for me -- sometimes. Here are my observations:

You have to be able to smell it. To smell it, you must be able to see it. The documentation that comes with Sensa says that it will not work in soups and/or any liquid food. However, from my experience, when I sprinkled it on food items that have enough moisture for the Sensa to soak into (i.e., you can no longer see the salt-like sprinkles), it had no affect on my appetite. Here are some examples of where it worked for me:

-- Grilled meat such as hamburger, pork chops, or chicken, where the surface of the meat is DRY.

-- Eggs. I use powdered or liquid egg substitute. Again, the surface of the eggs had to be fairly DRY.

Examples of where Sensa had no affect on my appetite:

-- Salad. Just forget it, it disappears into the salad. I use low fat (I make my own) vinaigrette, so there is some surface moisture in the salad.

-- Steamed veggies. Nope, nada.

-- Raw veggies. I didn't notice any benefit.

-- Oatmeal. I think I saw a picture somewhere of Sensa sprinkled on oatmeal. Well, it didn't do a thing for me and I make my oatmeal really gummy -- with as little water as possible.

For Sensa to work on any food item, you must be able to see it sitting on the food -- you cannot mix it in or put anything on top of it. You must take the time to smell it on the food before you take each bite. Eat slowly.

I bought a 1st month supply of Sensa (2 shakers with DVD), and 2nd month supply (2 shakers with DVD) for $29 each -- a special limited time deal from Costco.

I was right! I am very sensitive to the nasal effects (to the point where I felt like I had to sneeze the entire first day.) I have lost 5 lbs in the first week. A couple days into week two now. Will update weight at the end of the week.

Update #1:
Today is day 15. I have lost 9 lbs. I can see I have lost a lot of inches, too, since my clothes are all fitting much looser. Yesterday, I ordered a huge steak salad, dressing on the side that came with a small piece of cheese toast. I always pour the oil off the top of the dressing into a small bowl, so nothing changed except that I only ate half the salad and had the other half for dinner. Cheerios plus 1percent milk with half a banana for breakfast. Some pretzels and Fage fat free greek yogurt with blueberry sauce as snacks. (And didn't even do my full walk or drink enough water.) Still lost a pound.

Update #2:
Today is the 21st and I started the 3rd - so 18 days. Lost about 10 lbs or more (didn't get weight on first day...too scared! LOL) Hungry today after I didn't have a chance to eat since early in the morning. Went through drive through and ordered the smallest kids' cheeseburger with extra catsup to fill a craving. No fries, not huge burger, just small burger and diet coke. Sprinkled on Sensa. I am stuffed! (And I needed a junk-food fix since it's been a while) PLUS!!!!THE LAST WEEK I HAVE BEEN PMS...Which means I would have lost more! I expect this week to drop water weight so I will continue this "honeymoon fast pace" for longer than is usual.

Not keen on orange flavored drinks of any sort, so I don't want to use the drink packets without adding sugar free lemonade mix.

So happy with Sensa. Already bought my month 2 and hope I stay as thrilled!

I've been searching for a safe alternative to diet pills and came across Sensa. It's easy enough to use & won't cause the awful side effects diet pills have. Right away it was noticeable that this stuff does make me eat less & not crave more food. My eating plan is low carb, occasional indulgence of something sweet & mostly vegetarian. No matter how much I control my eating plan, there are still those cravings & wanting of high carb foods. Sensa has helped me stop craving & eat less of the foods that I enjoy so much, instead of over indulging.
The Quench drink in Orange is pretty good too, it fills me up between meals so that I am not hungry & has a little burst of energy that I really do need.
Maybe its just me, but for some reason Sensa smells good when I shake it on my food. The scent is sweet, not too overwhelming & just the right amount of yum to it. Either way, it isn't hard to use & really does work without any side effects, plus it hasn't upset my stomach at all.
Worth a try! I'm going to continue on with Sensa and try the chews next. Since I can't find Sensa in my local stores, I am happy Amazon has it available at such great prices, or else I wouldnt have tried it at all.

My wife and I have each used SENSA for two months. Here is what it does: It really slacks our urge to eat. We will not feel hungry for 4-5 hours when before we felt hungry in 3-4 hours. Here is what it does not do: It doesn't allow you to eat anything you like. The SENSA comeon is false. You still have to eat less, even with SENSA. The member's site provides a ton of eating tips to help a person lose weight (same as other sites). The site clarifies that you can eat "anything you want" but clearly states you can't eat all you want. My wife and I use the product in conjunction with a legitimate, well known nutrition program. SENSA helps us as a tool to curb our appetite in a well rounded program of nutrition and exercise. BUT, we don't buy it from SENSA because of their poor reputation for customer service. We use Costco but it's about the same to buy it from Amazon.
