I bought these for my kids (well, the Easter Bunny bought them) because I remember having them as a kid.
They are STILL AWESOME!
First and foremost, they are truly mess-free. They are basically pieces of yarn covered in a bendable, non-chippable wax. The texture is slightly sticky, but practically no mess is left on fingers, skin, table, rug, couch, etc. Sometimes fingertips have a SLIGHT waxiness to them, but it really is minimal and COLORLESS. They can go anywhere with you and not make a mess.
Wikki Stix are bendable, twistable foldable, coil-able, moldable, throwable and REUSABLE, therefore, eco-friendly. They stick extremely well together and are easy to pull apart. My kids make bracelets, flowers, "rainbow burgers," coins, and other creative things only their minds can come up with!

Purchased these for our 3-year-old grandson - they were a big hit BUT users need be cautious where they are used. The coating that creates flexibility also leaves behind residue. Needed a strong solvent to remove the remains left after one stick was stepped upon and flattened on our floor. The idea of playing with these in the car is a no-go, especially in hot weather. They're a great idea but only under controlled usage conditions.
