The Good:
The device itself is solid. Many of the less expensive toys feel like they will shatter if you flex them the wrong way. No such concerns here. It has a pleasant weight, enough to know it's there, not so much that you'll have problems supporting it for short periods of times hands free. The shape is excellent, allowing direct sensation on the middle/back of the prostate, a location that is hard to hit with most toys. The size is just about perfect for me, but may prove a touch larger than some folks are prepared for. You may need a little warm-up before using this two, think two fingers area. There is none of the smell I normally associate with cheaper toys, you know, that smell of cancer in your future. The device is relatively easy to clean, though impossible to truly sterilize. It may require a bit of scrubbing if any "debris" is lodged into the textures tip, but nothing extreme. The vibrator is mid shaft, between the two sphere shapes. For me, the space between these two sphere's represents a good target depth, and allows my sphincter to hold on to the toy and receive maximum vibration. Again, for the price point, this vibrator has a good bit of thump, with only one or two patterns that get a little "Buzzy" after a while. The vibration also carries to the end of the toy quite well, allowing for a very pleasant sensation to be applied directly to the the prostate. The battery is rechargeable, and while I can't yet speak for it's over all life span, it's per charge life span is quite good. I've used it with both the roller and the vibrator on high for 30 minutes with no sign of running out of charge.
The Awesome:
But oh the roller, let me tell you about the roller. There is a bead on the inner side of the end curve, right in the middle of the textured portion. This bead is driven by magic, or possibly a small gnome, back and forth along a 3/4 inch track long track. It can be set to move at 3 different speeds, varying from "Wow" to *Sploosh*. The slow speed it's still plenty fast, see the video, but doesn't have quite as much power and can be stalled. The middle and higher speeds are honestly possibly excessively fast, but have more power to move when you start ramming it in, which you will. This is where the shape and weight really come into play. This thing feels great, and you will want more, and more, and more. And the more you want, the more you'll appreciate the shape of the device and the strength of the handle. Pushing down on the end of the handle and pulling out just slightly will cause that little bead to be driven quite forcefully against the back of your prostate. You'll need to experiment with depth, but I'm a big guy and had no problems finding and hitting the perfect spot. With a little practice, you be hitting the separate vibration speed and roller speed buttons with no problems as well.
The Challenges
There is no absolute dept "stop" on this toy. While I doubt that anyone will "loose" it, do to it's size, it's technically possible to do so. The shape of the head of this toy is designed, by necessity, around supporting the mechanism which drives the bead. The challenge this presents is that for the novice, initial insertion will be a little difficult. The head has no tapering, and will require a bit of 0-60 to get in. Add to that the raised texture dots, and a thick lube is pretty much a requirement for playing with this toy. The silicone cover is a relatively rigid blend, making those texture dots border line abrasive when things get really enthusiastic, especially given how delicate the tissue we're applying it to is. I'm sure that finding a grade of silicone strong enough to not absorb the friction/pressure of the bead, and soft enough to be friendly to the anatomy was challenging. I might suggest a bigger bead, and softer silicone, but I can see how that may have required a larger mechanism making the toy to big for a beginning audience. (Hey Sensuelle, if you do make one with a bigger bead and head, and you need someone to test and review, I'm TOTALLY willing to be a beta tester. I'll throw myself into multiple extensive testing scenarios, cause I'm a good self-sacrificing guy. Seriously, call me.)
The Unfortunate.
This toy feels amazing. Just incredible. I've been playing with my rear since I was, well, for more than 30 years. And in all that time, I've managed to orgasm truly hands free only once. 1 single time. I managed to double that number the second time I played with this toy. The shape of the toy is such that you can force quite a bit of pressure onto a very focus area of your prostate, and the toy. This has two unfortunate effects, in addition to the mind-blowingly great ones. If you don't use a thick enough lube, when things get really enthusiastic, there will be a bit of, well, pink fluid. I won't say that it caused bleeding, nothing so serious as that, but I won't say it's impossible that it could if you get to rough with it. I don't fully blame the toy for this, it's as much or more my own lack of caution. But it's something to be aware of none the less. The second problem is that the mechanism that moves the ball itself is probably made of plastic. The motor that drives the bead is also strong, too strong for the connecting piece. I broke mine the third time I played with it. Again, I'm was probably overly enthusiastic, and pressed it to hard, so I don't hold them totally responsible. But it's another area to be aware of.
**The Important**
While the toy did break on the third session, I emailed support and had a response within 12 hours. I emailed them copies of my receipt and the bar code from the package and they made it right within a couple days. The response was prompt, professional and fully addressed the problem. Customer support of that type is amazing in any market, but in a field dominated by companies just looking to make a quick buck it is truly outstanding.
Don't test the strength of the bead mechanism with your hand. Let me save you the effort and risk to your toy. You are stronger than it is, you can stop it without much effort. You will also run the risk of breaking it when you try. So don't! Your prostate/g-spot are not that strong, and have a lot more give than your fingers do. Save yourself some heartbreak and use it as intended.
**TL;DR**
The sensations provided by this toy are, in my experience, unique, and awesome. The company stands behind the product and responds quickly to support requests. In a world of disposable sex toys, this toy is a great value and I recommend spending your hard earned cash on it. It's not perfect though, and I hope that they will continue to develop the line until it is. I'll be buying another one for my girlfriend to try, and honestly I'll probably be buying one for a very close friend's birthday.
