Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

BUT BE CAREFUL AND HEAR THIS: On the line with 3 sata power connectors, do not connect that to your hard drive and also another thing. I have to run that line for only my hard drive, because when I had my optical drive also connected, it caused my hard drive to continuously shut down and spin back up. Just a warning that save you the headache I went though
I got one of these because my computer was having shutdown issues due to my old power supply acting up.This unit was 27.99 with prime so I thought I would give it a try. It shipped Prime fast and took me about 8 min to install. It looks good, runs cool, is scary quiet, and it solved my shutdown problem. I am running a 3+ MHz i3, 8GB ram, and a 4GB GeForce GT 630. It appears to be powering it just fine.
Which brings me to a problem I have with how this unit is listed. I originally thought this was a 600W supply, but after reviewing the info on amazon and the info that came with the unit, it never flat out says what the wattage is. If you look at the volt/amp breakdown it would seem impossible for this to make a true 600W unit, so if you are looking to power some higher end gaming setups, buy something else. I am guessing that since there is a big 600 on the side of the unit, Amazon figured that it should throw it in with the real 600W units. So, my only gripe so far is for the lack of clarity with the way this unit is listed. HOWEVER, since the unit is working great and fixed my problem, no stars lost.
I will update if any problems arise.
Unfortunately, about two hours ago, this brand new power supply suddenly quit working...just like that...dead in the water. I opened the case and checked all connections. No go. I took it out and replaced the 300-W supply that was in it before. All is fine. There is nothing wrong with the computer. The new power supply simply bit the dust.
I have already placed a return order, and am getting a full refund. UPS will be picking up this one tomorrow. I'm very disappointed. I tried to find the review I wrote, but it has evidently gotten lost in the shuffle, or Amazon pulled it as soon as they authorized the return. So I'm writing this BAD review to counter the GOOD one I wrote two days ago.
The unit does not have 2 PCIe 6 pin connectors. To connect to a higher end GPU you will need to get a Y-cable, which I did, and works fine. As mentioned by others, I wouldn't recommend this for intense gaming, or power hungry GPUs. If your recommended PSU wattage for the GPU is around 350 - 400, or less, it will be OK. Anything more, and I would look to a more tried and tested PSU, like a Seasonic, Corsair, etc.
For an everyday computing box with moderate gaming and a lower power GPU, it should be just fine.
