Overpriced, should be hardcover at this price
Not worth $11.99 for such a cheap, flimsy book. The book doesn't even touch on her great wins or how she became one of the greatest women tennis players of all time while breaking racial barriers in the story. It adds that she won some things after the story, as a side note timeline that most students don't even read. I didn't even see it during my first read through. Overall just okay.

Here is an honorable book about a serious woman, Serena Williams. She started playing tennis at the age of three. The pictures are beautiful and the story shows a lot of research went in this book. Everything was put together in a fun and exciting way for young children to enjoy and for older children and adults, you and me, to enjoy also. I highly recommend this book for all. It is part of the Mini Movers and Shakers Series which I Highly Recommend.

This book is the latest release in the Mini Movers and Shakers series It is a perfect choice for young tennis enthusiasts.

Nhin relates the story of Serena Williams and her family. Serena began playing tennis at about three years old. Her father thought it a way to develop strong physical, mental, and technical skills.

Readers learn how Serena and her sister, Venus, had to overcome discrimination and self-doubt. The positive self-affirmations and constant support of Serena's family helped to develop the resilience she needed to succeed in all aspects of her life and career.

Simple but well-done illustrations accompany each page of the inspirational story for elementary and middle-grade readers.

This is a charming children's book about Serena Williams and her rise to fame. At a young age her father started teaching her and her sister Venus everything about tennis. They both excelled at the sport and started playing professionally as teens. They not only trained physically but also mentally, in preparation for wins as well as losses. As a child Serena showed determination to succeed at tennis, and with her strength, focus, and confidence she has managed to achieve her goal. A wonderful story for all children to read.

Good book telling the story of hard work and determination paying off. Had to order 3 times due to 2 failed deliveries. Fault of Amazon's delivery driver who claimed package was delivered. One book was delivered to a local supermarket. Not sellers fault
