Perfect size and firmness for my hand
5 out of 5 stars
Perfect size and firmness for my hand
I have had reconstructive surgery on my hand and this is the perfect ball for at home physical therapy. It is small enough for my hand, the cover is smooth, soft and flexible and the firmness is just right. It is not too firm. There is a lot of give that allows me to squeeze deeper for a full range of motion. The stitching is holding up very well.

As someone who constantly struggles from dealing with ocd on a daily basis, this product has helped me relax and kept my mind off of the many anxieties that come with my ocd. Its also really good for grip strengthening. I noticed that it was really working my muscles the harder i squeezed. But even if you're not using it for musclr strength it is still good to use with a soft grip as well.

I have generalized anxiety and when I’m on work calls if I’m feeling stressed I will start picking my cuticles. I can really destroy them in a matter of minutes. I bought this after a different stress ball tore up. It was one of those with some kind of squishy black substance on the inside. It broke one day on a call and oozed a bunch of nasty goo all over my hands and jeans. I wanted a replacement without any product inside. This is nice stress ball, no goo on the inside and it gives me something to hang on to. Others have mentioned it tore up quickly, but I’ve been using it for weeks and no signs of wear. Happy!

I bought this for my mother as a stress ball for her to use as an aid to her quitting smoking. She says that she really likes it, although, she did say she wished that it would have been just a little more squishy. Overall a really good product. She would recommend it to others dealing with prolonged stressful situations

Great smooth fabric texture on the outside, and then you can feel the gel on the inside. It's a bit firm but when you're really tense, you can unload a lot of pressure into it. When I'm upset or stressed or angry, I try to release my tensions into the ball. After a bit, I definitely feel a bit more relaxed from just letting that bad energy go. It's a great item to keep on desk or with you. I bought another because being a ball... well... my cats bat it around and it got lost, so I bought a new one. It's the same perfect quality too.

Also it works as a fidget toy too, I have ADHD and sometimes I just like to feel the gel ball squish. It's relaxing.

This thing is amazing. I mean only so much praise can be given to a hand therapy ball right? But believe me, this ball takes the trophy home. My wife suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome, these 2 alone will have your hands stiff as branches if one is not religious with excercise... this ball has brought so much relief to my lover's hands and wrists that I will never stop praising this ball. It's kind of a cloth outside with a gel filling which makes it just the right spot between firm and plush that is perfect for hand therapy, but for me what was truly surprising and honestly unequaled by any other brand is the fact that they finally went with a smaller measure! Yes, this ball is smaller than your regular hand therapy/stress balls and although you might feel like you paid more for less material this is actually so helpful when it comes to those painful ridden therapy sessions! On top of that I received a guide with some useful (although pretty basic) hand therapy exercises so that's just a plus!
    Thank you serenilite!

works well for someone with really small hands

The Serenilite ball has been a wonderful aid for my adult daughter's anxiety issues. Her therapist had recommended a stress relief ball and after reading all the positive reviews of this product on Amazon I decided to get one for her. She has some sensory texture issues and I wondered if this ball would work for her but my concerns were unfounded: She loved the size of the ball which perfectly fit her grip and is very portable to take in her purse, yet discreet to use in public; I got her the blue-on-blue Serenilite ball and she has said the color is soothing. She also has commented positively on squeeze resistance of the ball as being perfect for her needs. She has shown this ball to both of her therapists who also tried it out and who both liked the feel of the ball and inquired about how to purchase them. So, definitely, this ball is the one to get!

I spend 10-16 hours a day typing, and as such, my hands suffer! The therapy ball is just what I've needed to take control of my hand and wrist health. The therapy ball is small, light, and easy to store in my computer bag. So far the ball has stood up well to repeated usage sessions with no noticeable degradation.

I don't follow a specific schedule, but I try to keep it handy as a stress reliever, thinking aid, or momentary distraction. Whenever I need a moment to think, or find myself on a call, or otherwise not typing, I can pick up the ball and manipulate it, squeeze it, squash it...again, not following any specific regime; but even this absent-minded use of the product has had positive results. After a few weeks, I've noticed that my typing fatigue isn't as bad as it has been, and the general wrist ache that excessive typing induces has improved greatly.

I would definitely recommend that anyone who spends a lot of time doing repetitive motions with their hands invest in a therapy ball to help manage the long term affects.
