I have spent the last two years with small attention on Wayne's World, lol remember that movie?
Big chunks of precious time on "News" for my morning reading.
Increasingly becoming more despondent and further away from the love I had experienced in my massage practice of 20 years with a move to New York, I downloaded Wayne's The Serenity Technique.
Of course it took me 2 1/2 weeks to actually sit down to Finally Read it.
All I have to say is Read It.
In a moments flash I remembered the love that I had grown accustomed to in my practice, connecting to so many hearts in the quiet of a massage studio. It's so easy to forget. So easy to become distracted. I had forgotten I forgot until reading this offering.
Then I remembered, I wanted Serenity, A matter of what you focus on as Wayne writes.
Here is a fabulous tool or guide.
How lucky are we humans to have a fellow traveler, Wayne ( whoever that is) to remind us almost daily with tools for Serenity, Peace and Big Love!
A living master who shows love every day in brutally honest blog posts. Books he writes patiently, faithfully, doggedly reminding us yes you can.
Simple to follow instructions. Clear and easy to follow directions.
You have to Read it though.
Finally, and Thankfully after reading his last post I did.
No more reading desperate time news, more time sending those thoughts down the pneumatic tube.
I can not say Thank-you enough, so you will have to find out for yourself, to become a most grateful recipient of simple, beautiful easy to use instructions on a much more peaceful, serene existence.
After all that is what we are underneath it all. Find out for your own self.
You gotta get this and his Mystical Oneness Book.
Best time and money spent I assure you, oh and you have to read it :).

Wayne has an insight about combining the impersonal and the personal that I intuitively feel is a difference in kind from other books with a non-dual bent. It reminds me of Gurdjieff's idea of "self remembering" but is much more intuitive, simpler, and easy to grasp. This single insight alone is more valuable than the price (price--99 cents...) of the book itself.
Save yourself the dollar you were going to spend on potato chips and buy this book.
And--note to self here--don't just "think" about it (that would entirely and ironically miss the point of the book), but DO what Wayne suggests.
But the serenity technique goes beyond helping you to live in the moment and release whatever is stressing you, important though that is. If we can choose to stop taking our thoughts so seriously, then we have a chance to be more open to another’s situation or point of view, to perhaps discover that they are motivated by love just as we are, even though they are perhaps very different from us in behavior and values. Empathy, love, common ground, and yes, serenity—all much needed now. As Wirs observes, “What you focus on, you become.” Clearly and engagingly written. Highly recommended.
