I agree with other reviewers, this is a great book. I bought it on 'spec' having not heard of the author before. I certainly hope to hear more from her soon. It has been along time since I could not put a mystery/thriller down but this was riveting. This may be why I found the ending a little rushed, I just did not want it to end. A sequel would be most welcome by this reader. If you want a good mystery & do, as previously mentioned, enjoy Dexter style characters (I have never watched this show but may have to now) this is a must read. Warning - don't expect a lot of lesbian passion; it is a mystery & a darn good one. It is similar to Ingrid Black's Saxon (The Dead & The Dark Eye), where the major character happens to be a lesbian. Well done Ms Whaley!!

i had some doubts at first but was soon sucked into the story. Like a female Dexter with a family it is easy to begin liking and cheering on this modern day vigilante.
well written with charecters that suck you in. I would not hesitate to read more from Ms. Whaley.

Talk about personal vengence this book leads in that category. A female assassin calls a conference with the FBI to make a death bed confession, and what a tale she has to tell. Serial Justice keeps you glued to whatever spot you're in to see what happens next. You may not agree with her motive for her actions, but it's a heck of a journey she's chosen to take. Please give us a sequel soon.

I really enjoyed this novel. I love the back and forth between then and now and the characters are awesome.

There were some spelling/grammar things but that to me isnt a very big deal when I can get into the story.

Cant wait to read more from Tammy..

As someone else who reviewed the book mentioned, it draws you in rooting for the bad guy just like Dexter. I had some difficulty in buying the way the storyy wrapped up but it is fiction. The quick wrap reminded me of the tendancy of Patricia Corwall to spend 300 pages in build up and detail only to rush to the finish with major reality stretches crammed into 10 pages.

Even on her death bed, female assassin, Carson Davidson, has an agenda that no one knows about. Carson Davidson has decided to confess to killing criminals who had committed the most horrendous atrocities imaginable. In Carson's mind they deserved to die. She had spent over twenty years hunting down and killing these monsters. Now it's time to tell all. But what else is she hiding?

FBI Agent Miriam Mackenzie, (Mac) is assigned to document and to ascertain the authenticity of Carson's crimes. Unfortunately two FBI agents are killed and Mac finds herself minus her badge and her gun and under an internal investigation. As if this isn't enough, Mac is attracted to Dana, Carson's daughter. Even though Mac knows Dana went along with Carson when she committed her crimes and Dana herself could be a killer, Mac can't seem to help how she feels.

Due to the rapport between Carson and Mac, Mac is asked to continue to take down Carson's confession. As the story of Carson's life unfolds, so events are taking place leading to an explosive sequence of events. Mac finally realizes that nothing and nobody are as they seem.

This is the first I've read from Tammy Whaley and I assume it is her debut novel. The storyline is thrilling, full of mystery and intrigue, twists and turns and ups and downs and is a page turner. There is no doubt that Tammy is a wonderful storyteller.

The story is fast paced all the way through, alternating between Carson's confession and present day. However, I felt the ending was rather abrupt. Almost as if the author cut it short in order to leave room for a sequel. Which I would be delighted to see.

There are a few typos and errors. But they didn't take me out of the story. This book is well worth reading and I highly recommend it.

Excellent book with squat and turns that will keep your mind at attention. Just when you think you know how the book will end. Wham!!! It becomes a whole different story. This book will keep you up all night (or day) from page one to page184! It might not have many pages, but, they are most exciting. A great read.

I've read several books but never one about the topic writer decided to include. We never really think about what might actually hurt only by thinking of it. Not only reading this book opened eyes for me bit more than before, but also shows that there are people who care.
No one has a right to hurt the one who cannot protect themselves.
Absolutely brilliant and wonderful read.
