seriously hot chemistry and an even stronger emotional connection

Julian needs a buffer between himself and his ex. Jen needs to keep her parents from being further disappointed in her. So the two friends agreeing to a fake date seems like a really good, necessary idea. But we all know how fake can turn very real, especially when feelings are already there, even if neither is aware of the other's feelings.

Jen is more comfortable behind her camera. Her anxiety has her uncomfortable in certain situations, but she's not one to talk about it for fear of judgement, especially from her overbearing, judgy mother. So she's not about to spill her secret to her fake date, real friend, Julian. But, it might not be the issue she's thinking it is, as Julian's not one to judge for something like that. He does, after all, have his own issues, issues that could be the end of this fake relationship that's actually quite real.

The world of the Wrights is one I just want to keep reading and reading. Julian Wright is a sweetheart, only eclipsed in that sweetness by his love, Jen, who, to me, is the real standout of Serves Me Wright. She's much stronger than she realizes, and her character growth is amazing. She comes into her own, gains confidence, and starts standing up for herself by the end. That's not to say that Julian isn't amazing, though, because he is. He and Jen are a fabulous couple with seriously hot chemistry and an even stronger emotional connection. I cannot wait for the next Wright love story now.

Julian Wright was partners in the fairly new winery in Lubbock. Jennifer was the photographer for their events. She’d been in love with Julian for four years. He was always attracted to her, too, since the day they fell in a pool together. Neither one of them thought the other felt that way. He had a distraction with mom in the interim and a relationship with a woman, who turned out to be a horrible person. Thus, the present. They end up helping each other out with events they each have to go to which are problematic for each of them. Jennifer has a medical problem she doesn’t want to reveal because it didn’t go over well at all with the last person she told. Lots of things happen in this story; steamy scenes, secrets, happy times, sad times, surprises and love. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Chester was a surprise in the story. And that Ashley , what a horrible person!!! I absolutely cannot wait for Hollen and Piper's story. That should be a great one!!! I love this whole series.
