3.5 year old loves this game!

We purchased this game new for a very low price. Perhaps if I would have paid more for it, I'd be disappointed, so do keep that in mind when reading my review.

That said, this game is wonderful! Our 3.5 year old can play completely on his own. The controls were tricky at first, but his dad patiently taught him how to effectively control gameplay, and within 15 min, he had the hang of it. The games are a bit below his level, but they are a good reinforcement of facts and skills he already has, so we're ok with it. The game is fun and educational, and we can't ask for anything more for the price we paid!

My 2 and 4 year old are new to Wii U and they are thrilled with this game. My 4 year old already reads numbers,counts and adds, but he really likes moving around to play the games and helping his little sister. The game talks and transitions rather slowly, but as a former elementary teacher I would say that this is an appropriate conversation speed for preschoolers. Note: video games are to reinforce what children have learned or are currently learning. Please do not rely on just a game to teach numbers to your kids. :) I think it is an excellent value and will use this instead of a short movie when I need to keep them engaged on their own.

I got this for my four year old to use with her standard Wii console as she doesn’t have many games she can currently play. The games aren’t quite advanced enough for her & I feel like they would be more suited for a 3 year old or possibly even younger child just beginning to learn numbers and shapes. Also, the Cookie Monster controller cover actually covers up the sensor, so we weren’t able to use it. The games are cute & worth the money, just not advanced enough for someone already doing preschool/kindergarten work.

I bought this for my son who is turning 5. He played it for about 15 minutes and said it was boring! It is very easy and doesn't offer choices for older preschool kids. It would be a good fit for little one just learning their colors shapes letters and numbers.

Although I gave this 4 stars, I don't agree completely with some people's posts. I got this game for our son who is 2 1/2. He is probably about on schedule, if not a little advanced as far as his counting goes. I thought the game would be easier than it is and it is not. I would recommend this for a girl that is closer to 3 but boys tend to be a little more behind at this age. Not only do you need to be able to count but you need to know the numbers associated with it as well.

One thing I love is that I can play along with a second controller to give assistance to him. The cover that comes with it is adorable and I love it! The graphics are not anything worth bragging about but, honestly, we are looking at a game that is more educational and not as concerned with the quality of the graphics for our son.

All in all, I'd recommend this to someone with a kiddo that is learning counting and already has the basics down.

I bought this for my 3.5 year old son, who is a big Sesame Street fan. I think the basic ideas behind the game are okay, but the execution is infuriating. The games take too long to get going. The controller (which involves the kids doing lots of tilting the remote from side to side) isn't sensitive enough. There's no easy way to exit out of an individual game (in case it's terrible). And some of the games just move too slow. There's one game where you feed treats to goats, and it might involve shaking the Wii remote 19 times. It takes forever to shake the remote, for the goat to get the treat, and then to shake the remote again.

You're better off finding a few cheap games for your iPad or Android tablet than this.

Amazing game for toddlers who are learning there A B C , numbers and patterns. This game has great graphics and all the seasme street characters we have all learned to love. This game shows the children when there wrong and helps them get the right answer. There are so many different games to pick from and prizes to win. My two girls 2 & 4 love this game and the fact that it came with a cookie monster Wii remote cover made the so excited and the purchase worth while.

with a little help she quickly learned how to play. the cookie monster controller sleeve helped block out the unused buttons making it more kid friendly. she enjoys learning colors, shapes, patterns, and is learning addition in the process. As a sesame street fan she loves this game. I recommend it, you can customize the profile by pressing + and 2 on the main screen and adjust play time and put your childs name. you will earn a golden cookie per game completed to help cookie monster get the snack of his dreams.

What a great game! I purchased this game for my 3 year old son for his birthday and he loves it. It is definitely age appropriate for him, and even my 5 year old daughter too. They love the cover for the wii remote that came with the game. It makes the remote look like the Cookie Monster. The game is a great learning game but also very fun too. Teaches shapes and patterns and numbers in a fun and interactive way. The kids fight over who's turn it is! Would definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a preschool wii game.
