I bought this set after getting the Abby book alone as a gift. The set I received has different covers and are much easier to bend/made of a softer board. They look similar but the binding is also not as nice. Viewed from the top (in the picture) this can be seen more clearly - the inner book is from this set and the outer is the one I received as a gift. They also don't close back up nicely once opened, despite my attempts to wear it in a bit.
Maybe the publisher changed manufacturing procedures with the cover change, or something like that. Just be aware if you've had others from the series, this set is a bit different and of slightly lower quality.
