Hello, it’s Elmo! When children ask to “Open Sesame Street,” they’ll be able to speak directly to their furry red friend. Elmo's so excited! He can’t wait to share all the fun things he knows about the letter of the day. And Elmo's always up for a good game of Hide & Seek, with silly sounds as clues to where he’s hiding.
Sesame Street encourages kids to engage in imaginative play, learn new words, and just be giggly together with the voice of a familiar, fun-loving friend.
We hope your preschoolers have fun playing and learning with Elmo. We’re learning all the time, too, and really welcome the input of families like yours.
Try Saying Things like: “Alexa, open Sesame Street” “Alexa, ask Sesame Street to call Elmo” “Alexa, ask Sesame Street to play Hide & Seek” "Alexa, ask Sesame Street to find Elmo"

First Elmo is a tad hard to understand (its an app so what do you expect) but raise the volume via app and correct your settings to hear it better. Yes it could use clearer speaking. It also needs to slow down to allow children a chance to think about the answer in hide and seek. The call Elmo for the letter of the day is GREAT for my 3 yr old grandson. People complain about skill being stuck and cant move on to something else. There is a button in your app that says disable skill or speak "alexa exit sesame street" or "alexa disable skill". Works every time for us. But all in all my grandson wants to call Elmo every single day for the letter of the day and he repeats his sentence including letter of the day all day long. Great! 💖

Me: *enables skill* 3yo: *Call Elmo* Elmo: * {Fuzzy, high-pitched audio that forensic scientists could not possibly discern into speech} * 3yo, looking at me with confused look: *What's he say?" Me: He said it's time to disable this skill.
I do love Sesame Street, but there are probably better representatives than Elmo, and definitely characters that are easier to understand. In any case, like several story-time skills the audio is too poor for anybody to understand.
I’ve never enabled this skill (I just checked, it’s still not enabled). At totally random times and without any verbal direction, Alexa says “uh oh!” In the voice of Elmo. It’s happened 3 times and is super creepy!
This skill is great for our little Elmo fan. It is Elmo’s voice so you have to listen carefully because it’s like listening to a 3.5 year old (you know, cause that’s how old Elmo is!) we have to play with our little one because Alexa is not able to understand him (and sometimes she doesn’t really understand us either). Our LO doesn’t care that she sometimes doesn’t respond the way we asked. We enjoy jumping back and forth between the two games before moving on to a song request or two (or maybe one song on loop for an hour 😂)

It’s pretty hard to hear Elmo, and my 3 and 5 year-olds both struggle to respond in time before Elmo starts talking again, and then they can’t hear because they’re talking.
