He goes on... "God didn't punish me for my blunt expressions of exasperation, but He didn't placate my lack of faith, either... Just His letting me know, 'You're going to be all right" was enough to keep me going." With more twists and turns than an A+ drama, this book will keep you going to the incredible end. For anyone who has ever struggled with forgiveness, well worth reading!!!
I recommend this book to everyone...download it now. You won't be sorry It will touch you in so many ways. Thanks for sharing!!
Her son hasn't spoken to his mother and never knew that a plea deal was originally made with his mother pleading guilty. The story is told by the son and is a true account of a crime committed in Tennessee with the details of the case not made clear for a quarter of a century until the son meets with attorneys who are trying to commute the death sentence to life in prison. This a story of faith, forgiveness, reconciliation, and freedom. It is a story well-told by a son whose father was murdered and whose mother was facing the death penalty for killing her husband. It is not a gory tale, but a very human and redemptive story that shows the power of faith and forgiveness even after tragic circumstances have taken place.
I could not put this book down. I am from Nashville Tennessee area and know some of the professional people involved in this case. Stephen Owens relationship with God is what got him through this.
I was almost finished reading this book; when I knew WHO the title of this book referred to Stephen Owens. I can not say enough, I would give this book a 10 star rating.
