About the Author

Emmet Fox, who lived from 1886 to 1951, was born in Ireland. His father was a member of parliament, and Mr. Fox studied electrical engineering in England. In his early adulthood, Emmet Fox became interested in spirituality. Around 1930, he moved to the United States, and soon thereafter began lecturing on spiritual themes in New York City. Emmet Fox is the author of the famous Sermon on the Mount and many other books on spirituality. He is credited with serving as a major inspiration for the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). His writings are often classified as "New Thought."

Become A Possibility Thinker - Simple But Hard

This is a very simple book/pamphlet. There are only 16 readable pages out of 22, but the message is profound. The goals is to think positive all day for seven days. The process is simple. Control your mind so you think positive thoughts all of the time. Very simple, but very difficult to do. What this book/pamphlet does is show your what to do with the negative thoughts your are bound to receive and where to place those thoughts so you can think positive. I have been doing this for about five days and "Yes", not only do I see positive results, but I feel calmer and more hopeful.. People are kinder, I have received free items and unsolicited discounts. My outlook on situations is more positive and I can see possibilities much faster than before. It is recommended that you only start the seven days if you cannot keep it up. If you have a serious situation that will affect our being positive, then wait until the issue passes to start. If you are extermely negative then you will not like this book/phamplet because you will think the concept is too good to be true. If you serious about having a better life and changing your thought pattern, take a chance. For $2.99, this would be the best money you would ever spend if your are serious about changing your life for the better..

Tony Robbins said he read this and I couldn't resist to purchase right away. What a great little read to help ease the mind. This book is a guideline to eliminating negative thoughts we tend to harp on. Emmet Fox explains how hard it is when you're actually practicing it, and he explains how annoying it is and that you more than likely will have to start over. Trying to actually do it is hard and annoying just as he says but once you can master it for seven straight days, it's a true accomplishment. Everyone should read this book, great reminder that when we think more positively, we see everything in a more positive light.

This diet would be the absolute most difficult one ever for any person to do. We are not even taught the how-to's in families, schools, or where we may attend religious services. Quite the challenge. It does leave you with a lot of good thought when things arise.

Classic reminders of the importance of positive thoughts

The world is filled with contrast and it is so easy to get caught up in others' opinions. I once heard it said that people gossip to bond... and I think it is also true that people commiserate to connect. While both are easy trappings, Emmit reminds us that if we sustain positive thoughts and insist on positive interactions it can only change our lives for the better. If you decide to go for the mental cleanse, be forewarned, upheaval is at first likely. Stick with it though, because as you come through to the other side, you'll likely see how your world before was only posing as upright. Be strong and vigilant and enjoy your new life!
