About the Author
Born in New York City in 1955, Edward Harshman became a computer programmer before entering medical school and did house calls in his home town before attending business school. Frustrated with constraints on medical freedom, he practiced medicine in a stand-alone office in Maine from 2006 to 2015, meanwhile having a run-in with the Maine medical board (information about Complaint CR10-206 will be available from the Maine board through 2021), and left Maine in 2016.
