The Seven Women Project takes the reader on a delightful journey of nurturing self-discovery - to find her voice, her soul and her spirit. Along the way, she comes face-to-face with the charming, yet incongruent, parts of herself and learns to appreciate the unique and complex woman she has become. She is introduced to all of the strengths she has and learns when and how best to draw upon on each and every one of them! The Seven Women Project gives her permission to boldly embrace her own authenticity with newfound joy and freedom. Truly, a beautiful sight to behold! --Beverly Denver, Editor & PublisherHouston Woman Magazine

The book itself is great. The content is awesome and entertaining. The books nad movies that are classified like 7 types of women is interesting as well. After reading the book, it was fun for me to think of my female friends, coworkers and leaders and try to match them with the characters in the book. I believe there is a bit of all of the 7 women in every female, the percentages of the characters of course are different.

Here is why I gave 2 stars:
I saw the hardcopy of the book in the library and got it. If you are debating between the Kindle edition and the book, I would definitely would go with the hard copy book. The kindle edition hasn't been formatted well so the sentences were cut off in the middle of the line with enough space left to continue in the same line. It was difficult to read it on the kindle itself, that's why I finished the book with the library loan as it had started to get torturous to read it on my kindle. This is the first kindle edition book that I really have been very frustrated with.

"The Seven Women Project is full of personality and fun. While reading the book I was hoping Karen and Meredith would come over and coach the team of women within me, but by the end, I had taken some notes and created a plan that I hope to execute on my own. The Seven Women Project is a great resource and even a guide for balance in our lives. This book acknowledges that women are called to wear many hats, the trick is knowing when to switch over...and then wearing the right hat with style!"

The Seven Women Project is charming, witty, and inspiring. It embraces the existence (and encourages the exploration) of the multiple dimensions and aspects of ourselves as women, not to mention offers some great fashion advice. As I read it, I found myself touched by each woman and received several nuggets of wisdom and guidance from each one, while affirming that these insights were already inside of me, as well as parts of each of these women. It is truly empowering and uplifting, and a must-read for women of all ages!

"I have always been such a "Kate"! But learned from the seven women project that I am also "Hanna" and "Donna", and now is the time to let my "Sophie" out. Since learning about "The Seven Women", I have been able to use this within my own interior design business by identifying who each of my clients are and expressing that style through their homes.

"Karen McCullough and Meredith McCullough help us to gain understanding and acceptance of our own complexities. No matter which of the seven women we mainly identify with, we know we have the strength and backup from the other women within ourselves. Keep this book within reach, like a good friend, there are days when you need the support it gives you."
