TRISHA DAWN DAFFON READERS' FAVORITE
"The Seventh Dimension is filled with historical details of Christ's life, teachings and miracles, and the descriptions of the desert, the marketplace and the Sea of Galilee made this reader feel as though he were there with Shale. This is both an entertaining and edifying tale and well worth reading."

Ihope you make the second book fast (if you are making a second book). You are avery talented writer, and probably my favorite. Trust me I've read a ton ofbooks written by tons of different authors that I loved at the time. I knowthat I will love all the books in your Seventh Dimension Series, and all theother young adult books you write.

From the Author
Physicists (at CERN) are discovering what Christians have known all along. There is a door to the supernatural. Black holes are opening up around the world. In The Door, God opens that door.
What is the Seventh Dimension? A spiritual kingdom lies all about us, enclosing us, embracing us, altogether within reach of our inner selves, waiting for us to recognize it. God Himself is here waiting our response to His Presence. This eternal world will come alive to us the moment we begin to reckon upon its reality." - A. W. Tozer, ThePursuit of God.

When I asked for an honest review from my readers I got five stars from my 11 year who is drawn to action packed, intense books. She wants the entire series for Christmas. I got four stars from my 14 year old who loves mystery, animals and tends to become very empathic with the characters she reads. She too wants to complete the series even though she 'felt bad for' some the characters.
I would recommend this book to anyone! It was a true delight to read, and I'm glad I picked it up. I'll be looking forward to the next couple of books in this series.
The story is an interesting read with many biblical references. It feels very much like Alice in Wonderland or the Wizard of Oz with the talking animals and fantasy elements. The message of Jesus being a loving, merciful, forgiving king is a good one for young people to learn. Overall, a good read for pre-teen Christian readers.
The beginning of the book kind of reminded me of "The Wizard of Oz" in the way that the young girl Shale enters a door into the seventh dimension. The ending reminded me of another famous ending, but I won't spoil it. The middle was filled with more scripture, more analogies, and more appearances of Jesus as the King, carpenter, itinerant preacher, miracle worker, and fisherman. Most of the books I read have quite a few errors in them. I found none in this book. That says a lot, for I am an author and editor.
The only thing I had against this was Shale naming her diary "Dog," saying dog is God spelled backward, which is just a play on words and drivel with no spiritual meaning. If this were removed or modified, i would have easily given this fgive stars.

That said, I found the story a little weird, and at times annoyingly disjointed. Nevertheless, I continued reading to the end. I guess that says something about the captivating quality of the story...even if weird. But that's only my opinion.
I found myself comparing it to Alice in Wonderland, but with a Christian message. I hated Alice in Wonderland!
The way the story ended was good. Took me by surprise, I like that.
If you like Alice in Wonderland, you'll like this.
