Usage

Suitable Uses

Suitable for use on all hard, nonporous surfaces where bacteria or unpleasant odors are a concern including: countertops, food preparation surfaces, floors, appliances, garbage cans, changing tables, highchairs, cribs, children’s toys, toilet seats, door knobs, desks and pet habitats.

Usage Instructions

Use on hard, nonporous surfaces and follow directions for use on label. For heavily soiled or greasy areas, pre-cleaning is required.

To Open Package:

Open the lid and pull corner of wipe from the center of the roll. Feed the wipe through the guide, pulling it through to next perforation. Tear off wipe at perforation and close lid to retain moisture.

To Clean:

Wet the surface with the wipe & wipe clean. For stubborn stains, let stand for a few minutes.

To Disinfect:

Wet the surface with the wipe (spot test to check compatibility).
Leave visibly wet for 10 minutes. Allow to air-dry. No rinsing or wiping is required, even on food contact surfaces.

These wipes do a great job of cleaning and I personally like the scent, but...they are very heavily scented. One of my fourth-grade students said it most clearly: "These smell like tree bark...really strong tree bark." Still, there aren't a lot of products you can just hand a kid for cleaning and this is one that you can. I will buy again for the classroom.

I like these for disinfecting things that my daughter will be coming in contact with, especially after people have been sick or when strangers visit. A few things to know about them- they are very wet and sudsy so when you wipe a surface, they leave a sudsy wet trail until it dries. I don't consider that to be a problem and that might be how they disinfect but some people might not like that. They clean well and I'm happy to be able to disinfect my baby's play mat, toys, and highchair easily. I keep a tub in her toy bin, near her highchair, and in the car. I would love to rate them 5 stars, but the one thing that takes away a star is the scent. I didn't realize they were scented when I bought the 6 pack, though I might still have bought them if I had read the scent "lemongrass citrus". Unfortunately, it really smells more like thyme, which is a lovely taste in my food but not really my favorite scent in my home and on my baby's toys. I'm sure it is a personal preference and some people might love the scent, but for me I am seriously regretting buying 6 giant containers of this smell! I still think they deserve 4 stars though because they are otherwise great wipes that give me piece of mind when using on things my daughter will touch. Maybe they can come out with another scent option for my next purchase!

I Rely On These Alot

After trying numerous wipes - both "natural" and highly chemical, I settled on this for daily use. The smell takes a bit of getting used to, but is not bad and it is thankfully not heavily perfumed with chemical phthalates like most of the other wipes are.

A big advantage to these is that they work well on a variety of plastics and metal products, and don;t seem to ever cause any mar to the finish. I have even used them to wipe clothes, after noticing stains or food spilled on them.

Like any other wipe, make sure to wash your hands after using them, especially if you are going to touch your eyes. It is not a good feeling to touch your eyes after these! You won't go blind but you will need to wipe your eyes because they will tear up.

Some limitations to these are:

1) They will not clean really dirty items or stains as good as a Clorox wipe. For example, Seventh Generation wipes are great for wiping a generally clean toilet bowl rim or sink, but if you have stains on anything porcelain, a Clorox Wipe will do a better job.

2) Like the Lysol or Clorox or most other wipes, as you get about halfway through the wipes in the cannister, they become very wet. If that is the case, I recommend just wringing the wet wipe out a bit and releasing some of the liquid before using it.

Overall, I like these and have these on hand all the time now. I have come to rely on them for daily cleaning. I have even taken 2 at a time and attached them to my Swiffer Sweeper, and have used them as a wet mop. It works o.k., and is cheaper than buying the Swiffer wet mop refills, although the Seventh Generation wipes don't pick up quite as much dust and dirt.

I didn’t think they could smell this bad! I bought these because they’re recommended by Roli for cleaning their products (Seaboard, blocks), and they really do a great job of cleaning, even better than Pledge multi-surface wipes (which should not be used on Push, Push 2, Roli stuff), but that smell is so, so, so terrible.
I did see that another review thought the smell reminded them of tree bark, but I have no idea what trees they are smelling I find no resemblance to any trees I’ve been around on either East or West coasts. I think these smell more like lemon and burnt rubber. The smell is also very pungent and lingers for another 15-20 minutes but either you become used to the smell, or maybe it dissipates but it is just awful.

I love these wipes! I use these in the classroom and at home. The students all notice and really like the lemongrass scent. They are VERY sensitive to odors and will remark anytime anything smells bad, so I know this product is very natural. I don't love the scent, but it's not offensive to me. At home I use these to clean out lunch boxes. I used to use chlorine based wipes for that purpose, but then I let the lunch boxes air out to get the chemical smell out, and the next day I would wonder if all the chemical fumes were out while I was loading up the organic produce and hot meal in their lunch. This product at least makes me feel like I'm reducing the kids' exposure to chemicals! Really nice product, cleans very effectively, classroom desks come out gleaming instead of smeared with pencil!

🤢 the smell is SO bad. And trust me, I use all natural products all the time. But these are so gross I will never re-purchase because the smell is so so bad. I tried adding some essential oils but it didn’t help. They smell like rubber and the scent stays on your hands. I regret buying such a large pack before testing them.

SO happy! We switch to a natural non-toxic multi-surface disinfectant about 10yrs ago with Melaleuca (Sol-u-gaurd). We got tired of having to fulfill our monthly quota. Plus, it seemed that I may have got a chemical bronchitis from it and took about 4-6m to get back to normal. That scared me a bit. This product smells MUCH more gentle and even smells very light compared to the Sol-u-guard, bleach and even Lysol...please don't use that stuff! I found this cleaner on EWG who tells you about how toxic the ingredients are for your body and the environment.
