If your child has minimal mishaps then this product will work great for him/her. However, it is not absorbent enough for true beginners w/ frequent mishaps and heavy night time use. I purchase many products from the Seventh Generation Line and will purchase this item again, but at a later time when he is closer to being potty trained and we only need to rely on the training pant for an occasional mishap. Bought these based on the fact that it said that it was $.12 each for a 400 count with the total being $48.00. I was ordering these because they were the best price I had seen. I recieved 100. I called customer service but they didn't see anywhere that it had said a count of 400. I find it easily on my mobile device. She did see the part that said .12/count but she didn't understand it. Since I only received 100 it ends up being .48/count. I'm returning these and getting my diapers at the grocery store. I was planning on subscribing to these.

My daughter, who doesn't have particularly sensitive skin, had a horrible allergic rash on her lower back (weird place, I know) caused by Target brand pull-ups and diapers, which she only sleeps in (she's potty-trained during the day). We switched her to these, and it disappeared in 2 days. That tells me there is some questionable stuff in the other brands….kinda creepy. These pull-ups have an excellent fit. I highly recommend. Healthy skin is worth the money if you can shell it out. I do wish they would find a way to make these cheaper, though. The cost is the only reason I didn't give these 5 stars.

in fairness, this is a training pant (see kid on toilet in picture) so it is not intended to be used as a super-soaker overnight pull-on style diaper.

however, i think that is what a lot of parents are using this for, especially for 3-4 year olds. with that in mind, i want to let parents know that this may not work for them if that is what they want. they are more absorbent that i thought they would be, minus those super absorbent polymers used in the conventional, chemical laden brands. if your child was an average or light wetter overnight these would likely work out just fine. for the afternoon naps or extended car rides, again, they would probably work. but if your child is a heavy wetter, you will probably be doing more laundry than you like and your child may be waking you up, upset, in the middle of the night because they are wet because this leaked. i found that on my son, who seems to be a heavy wetting 3 year old, these would leak less than half the time but still more than once a week. my daughter, wore these just fine as a 2 year old overnight, but she was a very light wetter at night and stopped wetting at night altogether months before she turned 3. just shows how each kid can be so different.

we put two towels underneath him and since he actually refuses to wear pajamas, it worked out ok that the towels covered the leakage and he didn't seem to be wet himself, as if the last accident that went overboard so to speak was maybe right before he woke up anyway. we do make sure he goes potty and try to curtail his drinks up to bed time to minimize wetting- so it isn't like he goes to bed with a full bladder and these can't contain it.

I've used 7th generation diapers and wipes for over 2 years, since my son was born, I've written several glowing reviews and recommended them to all my friends as being very absorbent, great fit, comfortable, non-smelly, non-toxic, etc.

My son has been daytime pottytrained for about 3 months now but he drinks a lot of milk before bed so he still needs a nighttime diaper. When we used up our last pack of diapers I figured I'll switch to training pants for nighttime so he can put them on himself and pull them down if he wakes up to go potty as he sometimes does.

My son likes to wear them, they seem comfortable to him and I have no complaints in that department. BUT they leak. Up and down and all around. He's been waking up in the middle of the night completely soaked in urine, up his back and down his legs, and the diaper was barely wet at all. They don't seem to be very absorbent and don't contain the urine like diapers do. In the two years we used diapers we had maybe 2 or 3 leaks after horrible blowouts or with our son sleeping in in the morning, sometimes the diaper would be super heavy from the urine but they never leaked. He wore size 5 diapers before switching and is 80% height and 85% weight, he wears size 2T-3T so i figured these should fit him fine.

I'm very diappointed. I opened all but one pack and put them in his dresser, I never anticipated any issues, so I can't even return them.

I think I will just order a pack of diapers again and be done with it. I would not recommend these at all. The only reason I didn't give one star is that I really do love 7th Generation and my son doesn't seem bothered by them, nor has he had any skin reaction etc.
