From page one of the book, you are drawn into Lenora's story. How she is controlled by an entity, how it depicts her every thought, every move and makes her fearful that she is losing her sanity., making them fearful and think they are going crazy. I cannot not go any further. Because to appreciate this book, you really have to read it. I give the book ten stars, oops only five are allowed, damn!
Personally, I struggled with Ian and Lenora's on-again/off-again romance/friendship/sibling relationship. I am anticipating more character development with Ian as the series progresses.
For an eOriginal, I was extremely impressed with the editing. Often with eOriginals I find grammatical errors like misplaced punctuation and unmanageable verb tense shifts that distract from the story line. I found no such errors in this book. One eOriginal problem though did surface towards the end as the detective creates a chart to analyze the data points of the Gentleman Killer. The chart did not render properly on my device (Nook), but since this information was all previously gathered - it didn't inhibit the storyline.
Fans of the Twilight series and the Ghosthosters television series will enjoy this new series.
