I purchased this from a big-box store for just under 200 bucks. It looked like it was of decent quality especially when compared to some of the lesser quality tool cabinets I'd seen at places like Harbor Freight. It is an exaggeration to call the drawers, "stainless steel drawers" since it is only the face of the drawer that is stainless steel. In spite of that, the drawers are sufficiently sturdy and they should be with all the screws that are required to put them together. I'm not complaining, it's just a fact.

It takes from 2-3 hours to build the cabinet. It took me just under 2 hours. I think I was pretty organized and fairly focused during building. I would suggest reading through the instructions before you begin to put the cabinet together because there are a couple places where you can put in screws, because it seems like the right thing to do, but in reality you need to leave certain screw holes empty until a later step.

The completed cabinet is sturdy, rolls easily and quietly on the large rubber wheels. The drawers have decent slider mechanisms but at this price they are not going to glide open and shut nearly as well as a heavy-duty, full ball bearing sliding mechanism. For the price I don't think you'll find anything nearly as good.

I'm very happy with my purchase. I emptied the contents of two, overflowing plastic tool chests into this cabinet and I have room to spare.

I also purchased socket and wrench organizers trays that fit nicely in the drawers and keep things nice and tidy. The larger bottom drawer is perfect for larger tools, power drills, etc.

The top is nice quality hard wood and looks great.

UPDATE: 4/18/2013: I've had this for nearly a year now, Still very happy with it. No rust, drawers are still operating smoothly. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

I got this tool cabinet through Amazon from Seville Classics for $250 and free shipping. It weighs 110 pounds. As mentioned by other reviewers, it is packed in a box that is just a little smaller than what the finished product dimensions are. The big rubber caster wheels are two inches wide which makes it very easy to roll around. It took me two hours to put this thing together and It had very minor damage to some of the panels (I was lucky). A rubber hammer and a small block of 2X4 was used to fix half of the damage and a pair of regular pliers was used on the rest. The cabinet comes with a philips screw driver with a magnetic tip and I highly recommend using it. If you make sure that the screws are started perfectly straight into their holes then you will not have any issues whatsoever with screws or blind nuts stripping out. If you meet resistance half way in then it's cross-threaded and it will be a bear getting it to go all the way in and, in most cases, will strip out in the attempt. Back the screw out, realign it as best as you can and you will see how easy it really is to get this thing screwed together. A tool cabinet of this quality already assembled would cost $500. I bought this cabinet to hold my gun cleaning and reloading tools and it works great! The drawers are perfect size for storing and providing easy access to small tools. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Great tool cabinet / rollaway. I also purchased locally for about $200.00 and that made it even better. As in the previous review, you'r going to need an afternoon and some patience to put it together but again, well worth your effort. Assembly instructions are reasonably good with enough pictures and diagrams. No special tools needed. If I remember right, it comes with a screw driver and a couple other items to assist in the assembly. Top 5 draws are a bit shallow and maybe should have been four draws that we're a bit more deep but it's still a good compromise. Bottom draw is spacious. Actually, your going to be amazed at the quality of this thing regardless of price. I've worked in industry and purchased similar cabinets at three times the cost that weren't much better when it comes to quality. One thing to watch out for... THERE'S NO LOCKOUT AND MORE THAN ONE DRAW CAN BE OPENED AT THE SAME TIME! In fact, all the draws can be open at the same time. Again in industry, we couldn't use these cabinets without the "one draw open lockout system". So just be careful and close one draw before opening another. Why? Load them heavy with lots of steel tools, open a couple top draws and watch the cabinet become unstable. Add a little more weight in the wrong place and over it goes (gravity will get you every time). That said, be careful and it's a great buy, excellent quality, really like the hardwood worktop and the whole thing even looks nice!

overall decent when together but the drawer metal is not in the least comparable to the quality of the steel shelving products...the picture above is very deceiving. cheap stainless steel fronts on the drawers only. the heavy duty casters are impressive. be prepared to spend time putting it all together. the screws supplied are very cheap and strip out easily. I wasted approx.20 of them which was very time consuming and this is why they supply extras... bottom line. not too bad for the money but I would have spent a bit more it the quality was what I expected from seville classics especially since I purchased 6 of their shelving units and the workbench.
