Craft Business Oct 10 These three German authors love Scandinavian design - don't we all? If you need persuading- this book will achieve that. Gorgeous gifts to make. Yes, it's reminiscent of Tone Finnanger, my favourite Scandinavian crafts author. The big plus about this book is the pull-out, full-size patterns that are included on good quality pattern sheets at the back. This is a very special book that helps to make a house a home. It's full of ideas that will warm your heart. You'll want to make them for yourself as well as for friends. As gifts, they will be most welcome. Everything from pillows, charming creatures, that delightful teddy on the front cover, hearts, journal covers and all those hand-made things your heart desires. Well designed with great photography, this is a beautiful book. Karen Platt

and inspiring.I like the fact that full size patterns were included
inside the book, eliminating the bother of enlarging things.
I immediately started sewing the teddy bear on the front cover.
Even if you don't copy the projects to the letter, there's a lot of
interesting ideas to modify the way you want.
You will love the bear on the cover. If you are adventurous make him out of other materials and see what you come up with I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised,I was. Sew Scandinavian
The designs are not particularly Scandinavian -- more girlie, than simple and functional.
Finally, there are no step-by-step instructions.
Truthfully, I probably would've given this book one half-star more if the authors hadn't begun it with "Welcome to Scandinavia." I searched in vain for a Scandinavian vibe. "Welcome to Cutesville" would've earned 2 1/2 stars.
