I’m glad I waited until part/2 was in print before beginning this suspenseful ride. A CIA agent growing tired of living in the dark underbelly of the world, Rowan Hawke begins seeing life in a different light when his sister is kidnapped by a serial killer. The author gives enough backstory to acquaint the reader with how Rowan met professional female hacker, Alex McCoy, years ago; how the mutual attraction they shared combusted into an inferno they both ran away from. But now Rowan needs Alex’s expert hacking talents. Through this suspenseful race against the clock as they search for Rowans sister, he and Alex come to terms with the emotions they can no longer deny. Two strong and intelligent professionals who finally stop fighting fate and concede the powerful connection they have together. This story delivered exactly what I like in my romance reading. A strong, believable plot conveyed well and not overwhelmed with sex.

Book one is 2/3 of a whole story. Book 2 is less than 200 pages. The fact this is not a standalone should be very clear in the description. While it is well written, I’m not spending four dollars on part two for 1/3 of a story.
