Amber Davis is looking for a fresh start. She's a single mom who has been living in Florida close to her own family, but she decides to move north to be closer to her son LJ's paternal grandparents, uncle and two pseudo uncles. LJ's Dad, Levi, died in a hazing accident in college leaving Amber to raise LJ and also leaving her having quit school to do so. She's now heading back to get her degree so she can provide an even more stable life for her son.
Professor Shane Warden is also starting fresh after having been falsely accused of wrongdoing at his last job. His goal is to obtain tenure so he doesn't have to worry any longer about being in a solid job. He's honest, smart, sexy and wicked smart, meaning he's pretty much the perfect catch.
When Amber and Shane meet, it's by accident when they literally run into each other on campus. Little do they know that when the class starts, Shane is going to be Amber's professor. Knowing that they can't be together while she's his student, will they be able to hold out until the end of the class or will this relationship cause Shane to have to choose between his job and the woman he can't stop thinking about?
As someone who has read this whole series to this point, I'm thrilled we got Amber's story. She's been a part of it due to Levi and his twin Landon and so this was a great treat. I enjoyed both characters and LJ is awesome too. I highly recommend picking up this quick, enjoyable read!

Amber is a single mom raising her son after his father died in a college hazing accident when they were in college. L.J., who is now ten, is going to spend the summer with his grandparents so Amber has the chance to settle in their new house and start classes since she has decided to return to school to finish her degree.
Professor Shane Warden doesn't quite know what hit him when he bumps into the lovely Amber one night, but after a nice dinner together he cannot get her out of his head. Shane has been scorned before by a student so when he learns that Amber is in his summer economics class he's not to happy.
The chemistry was great and I loved this story so much it had me adding the other books in the series to my ever growing TBR shelf. There is of course some angst but it's quickly dealt with and did explain a lot about the Professors past.
I definitely recommend this story to anyone that has read the Sexy Series, lovers of the Student/Teacher Romance Trope, and anyone that is looking for a hot quick read.
After Amber’s college boyfriend tragically dies in a college hazing incident, she finds herself pregnant with his baby. She was fortunate enough to have a strong support system. Not only from her parents but from her boyfriend’s best friends, twin and parents. She loves being a mom but she always wanted to go back to school. Finally willing to take the plunge, she moves her and her son from Florida to Connecticut to attend college.
While exploring her new campus, she runs right into Shane. They hit if off immediately. All seems great until she shows up to class the next day to find Shane is her professor. Shane has career goals and falling for his student is one sure way of derailing them. But can they resist each other or will they give into what they both wants? Consequences be damned.
This book made me a swooning, happy mess. I couldn’t get enough of Shane and Amber. Amber’s strength and Shane’s honor and integrity. He’s a man any woman would want.
This is a nice finale to close the book on these amazing men and how life goes on and eventually you can find your happily ever after and the person you were meant to share the rest of your life together after a tragedy.

Sexy Love follows Amber Davis (who we earn of and met in the previous books as she’s was Levi’s g/f and the mother of his son) as she starts out on the next chapter of her life.
Meeting a guy one night on her way to dinner, she has an instant attraction to him and enjoys his company but neither had any idea that Amber would end up being a mature student in Shane Warden’s class once the summer semester started.
I understood Shane’s reluctance to start anything with Amber, having had mud slung at him previously was enough to make him leery about any kind of relationship or contact while he was her professor.
I liked that they met prior to college starting, that their attraction was instant but they both had their eye on other things that at that moment were their focus, but that seeing each other again over time made them reassess what was important and what they both wanted for their future.
It was great catching up with Amber’s ‘big brothers’ as the trio of friends from the series see themselves and that they were protective of her and L.J. when it came to the new guy in her life, even though they themselves fell hard as fast when it came to the loves of their lives.
A good round off of the series as a whole and it was nice to see Amber getting her HEA after all that she’s been through.
