Sam Morelli was in the Navy on his way to being a SEAL. He only had about six more months and he would earn his trident. He is home on Christmas break and can’t wait to see Bryanna. Bryanna is what got him through the nights will going through BUS/S. They had been together for over two years. Bryanna couldn’t wait for Sam to get home. Sam and a few other guys, including Bryanna’s older brother, had made a vow when Sam was 16 to stay single once they becomes SEAls. Bryanna was worried that Sam was going to stick to that vow, so she was going to try everything she could to get Sam to quit and stay with her.
I loved Sam and Bryanna together. Their chemistry came right through the book! Sam was a great guy. I was glad that he listened to what others told him, but made up his own mind now that he was an adult. This is a great short story that I encourage you to read. The author gave me a copy of the book that I voluntarily read and wrote a review.
A Seal’s Sacrifice
Gwen Kirkpatrick normally stayed home on New Year’s Eve and mourned the man that left her three years ago. The man that felt like he had to be a Seal without the encumbrance of a woman at home. That Seal is Noah Morelli. This year Gwen’s boss and long time friend Russell talked her into going to his sister Bryanna’s engagement party to Sam Morelli, Noah’s brother. Bryanna tells Gwen that she knows that Russell is going to ask her to marry him tonight. Gwen is shocked. Her and Russell have been friends for years, but only friends. Gwen then slips away to the balcony to get herself together, and the next thing she knows, Noah is there talking to her. Gwen has been in love with Noah since high school. Sam, Noah, and another friend Eli all decided to join the seals and made a pact not to het in any relationships while being a seal. That is one of the reason’s Noah left Gwen three years ago, but he has had time to think about his situation and miss Gwen. When he found out that Russell was going to ask her to marry him, he had to get back home. You need to read the book to see what happens.
A Seal’s Surprise
This is a novella that melts your heart. A young man’s mind was made up about love before he had a chance to know what he really felt. Gwen is a beautiful woman who just couldn’t get over her broken heart when Noah left. The crazy thing was, no one even knew they had been together. She has kept everything to herself for all these years. It is a good story that I enjoyed. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Macy Beck is an event planner and is planning her friend Valentine's week wedding events. Of course she is going to have to face her brother’s best friend Petty Officer Eli Spencer who dumped her because he felt he couldn't commit to her and the Navy. Macy is determined to keep Eli from causing trouble for his sister and her fiancée. She has a plan to seduce him, keep him busy, and not let her heart get broken.
This is a good novella. I liked seeing Eli's good friend knock some sense in him. There was trouble with him and his buddy. Macy's plan didn't go the way she thought it would. I loved her twin sister and their relationship. It is nice to see Navy Seal's being tender. I encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.
