I really enjoyed this book. One character in this book always allows me to enjoy the novel more when he's there. The characters are as good as ever. The setting and the villain this time were especially fun. I won't bore you with a plot summary as I know other reviewers are fond of doing that. If you liked the previous books in the series I say you should give this one a shot because I don't think you'll be disappointed. Have at it! I can't wait for the next one.

Shades of Levet!!!

The best thing about this book is that Levet, my favorite character, plays a sizeable role. And, as usual, the supporting characters appear on and off with each installment of the series. It's like revisiting old friends.

However, as usual, these books are not long enough. The villain was a bit weak, but at least we learned a little about the Heroine' mother and the past. My main beef was that the main characters just didn't have much chemistry.

I did enjoy it, and look forward to the next. 3-1/2 Stars for me.

Each character reaches a time when they must decide what/ is most important to them. I enjoyed meeting characters from earlier books, especially Levet.

Exciting and a touch of fun! Vampire, a strange female, a were shifter, an ogress, merfolk, an evil druid and of course the ever mishaps of Levet the tiny gargoyle. Mix this whole bunch together and you have a very entertaining book. Very well written by this very talented writer.
