Sueroe at The Romance Reviews ~ SHADOW CAT is an entertaining read. It's the first of a series and I, for one, will certainly read book two.
Acquanetta Ferguson at Examiner.com ~ Reena Jacobs brings to life a different type of interracial/paranormal romance than the usual fare, and this is a good thing.
BLHmistress at Book Lover's Hideaway ~ The hot erotic scenes left me running for some ice out of my freezer.
Miranda at My Eclectic Bookshelf ~ Like shifters? Like Strong willed women? Like it when the male gets a WTF moment? Then go grab this book.
Felicia at The Geeky Blogger's Book Blog ~ Berani and Eric created a very unique yet fantastic love story.

Eric lives his life trying to keep his family's pharmaceutical company, Nora-Tech, from falling apart after some problems in Malaysia. He travels there with his friend to take a break and see about the research that was supposed to be going on there.
In a chance encounter both of their lives will change forever. Berani finds herself attached to and falling in love with a human, one of the things she truly despises. Eric will learn that sometimes finding love is more important than alone with a successful business.
This story kept me interested right from the start. Once I began reading I never wanted to stop. The characters and settings were explained beautifully. This book had so much going for it, action, mystery, self discovery, romance, and toss in some erotica as well. It was very well written and I truly hope that there will be more!
Overall I thought the plot was good. There were a few aspects of the storyline that I thought worked out to easily, but it didn't take away from the overall story. I really enjoyed the mystical forces that are threatening the inhabitants of the rain forest. That was definitely interesting and a bit creepy. Reena Jacobs is currently working on more books in the Striped Ones series. I look forward to seeing what happens next in the series. Hopefully Bryan will be in them.
The erotic components to the story enhanced the overall story, but in no way was the fabulous story dependent upon the sex. These characters have brains, morals, emotions, and are "people" you'd care to know. It was the very best of the classic explorer meets native and falls in love with modern sensibilities causing me to cheer on the heroine, while sympathizing and rooting for the hero. I don't remember a moment when I didn't feel like I was in the Indian jungle with the characters, and still months later, I continue to find myself revisiting the characters and story in my own head from time to time. Almost made me want to join a university expedition to India myself when I was reading!
I would highly recommend this book to all Sci-Fi/Fantasy enthusiasts as well as to supernatural fans, along with romance or AU romance readers!
